2020 GHSA Preview – Sophomores

DILLION HUNTER

Westlake High School
Class of 2022

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: No. 14] [Rivals 150: No. 28] [ 247 Sports: No. 29]

Hunter had an unbelievable run this summer with USA Basketball winning a gold medal. Hunter is a young and talented guard who is really just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. He has good versatility in the backcourt, able to play either guard position because of his length and skills with the ball in his hands. He shoots the ball well off the catch or the dribble, gets to the rim equally well in the open floor or the quarter court, and will also create for his teammates. It’s a good mix getting buckets and distributing the ball. He has all the physical capabilities to blossom into a good defender as well.

SCOOT HENDERSON

Kell High School
Class of 2022

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: unraked] [Rivals 150: No. 15] [247 Sports: No. 12]

There isn’t a prospect in the Peach State who has seen their stock take off the way Henderson has. Henderson emerged this summer after a good showing at the USA Basketball July Mini Camp. Henderson has the ability to put points on the board in a hurry with his spectacular drives, three-pointers, mid-range jumpers and ability to play off the ball screen. He is a special talent in the open court; his speed with the basketball, ability to pass the basketball in a variety of ways and ability to make solid decisions with the basketball are impressive. Equally impressive is Henderson’s motor. He never stopped working defensively or offensively.

BRUCE THORNTON

Milton High School
Class of 2022

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: unraked] [Rivals 150: No. 30] [247 Sports: No. 43]

Thornton is a strongly built combo-guard that knows how to play. He showed he can run the team from the point guard position or play off the ball and assume the scoring responsibilities from the shooting guard spot. He loves to attack the rim in transition and is able to absorb a bump and still finish or get to the free-throw line. He uses his size and strength to rebound his position and defensively he has the potential to be a lockdown defender, but needs to make it priority. Thornton has been a hot commodity this fall Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, and Vanderbilt.

ZOCKO LITTLETON, JR.

South Cobb High School
Class of 2022

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: unranked] [Rivals 150: unranked] [247 Sports: unranked]

Littleton Jr exploded onto the scene with his play on the summer circuit with Team Carroll and Team Huncho. Littleton is a knock down shooter that demands the defenses attention. He can spot up on the break, stretch the defense in the half out offense or be a go to shooter off a special set play.  He has continued to build his game and has all the tools to be a high major prospect. Littleton averaged 14 points per game last season helping South Cobb advance to the Elite 8, which a year of experience under his belt look for Eagles to make a championship run this season.
