The Elite 32 is already stacked up with many of the top teams from around the Southeast. Here is a glance at some of the heat that will pack in All-Tournament Players Park  in Marietta, Ga. during July 9 through July 13.

ELITE 32 Preview

Heat Check

The travel team from the Atlanta Metropolitan area is quickly turning into one of the most solid programs in the region. Class of 2016 prospects like 6-foot-7 forward Zac Orr of Commerce, Ga., and combo guard Kai Lambert of Lawrencville, Ga., are just beginning to scratch the surface of their true production. Shooting guard Kevon Tucker is definitely one of the most sought after players on this team as in-state schools such as Georgia, Georgia Tech and Georgia State have all been in to see him play. The depth of this team continues with point guards Jordan Lyons of Peachtree City, Ga., and Christian Turner of Atlanta, Ga. who both are picking up college interest as of late.

Southern Stampede

This team is powered by their floor general Ty Hudson of Mableton, Ga. The 6-foot-1 point guard is a high energy play-maker who gained college interest from schools such as Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Clemson. The Stampede also have a number of front-line players such as Josh Culver of Duluth, Ga., Derek Ogbeide of Mableton, Ga., and Tyrell Johnson of Lithonia, Ga., who bring length and athleticism to the floor. However, do not sleep on Jared Harper of Atlanta, Ga., the 5-8 point guard makes plays and always competes at a high level.

Team United

As we talked about earlier this week, Luke Maye of Cornelius, N.C., is one of the premier skilled forwards in the nation. His ability to hit the 3-point jumper while also battling in the lane make one of the most productive players who will play at the ELITE 32. He is joined by point guard Isaiah Blackmon and forward Simeon Carter who are both from Charlotte, N.C.

Team Thad

One of the deepest teams who will compete at the ELITE 32 has to be Team Thad out of the West Tennessee area. As we talked about after the KnoxVegas tournament this team has a balanced attack in the backcourt as well as in the paint. Their attack is geared by class of 2016 point guard Jaylen Fisher of Arlington, Tenn., who uses his skill and deceptiveness to make plays for himself and others. Sharp shooter and Iowa University commit Andrew Fleming of Nashville, Tenn., and 6-10 center Nick Marshall of Lexington, Tenn., bring a true inside-outside balance to this team.
