#OTRFallShowcase – Guards emerge – Sept. 21, 2015

Duluth, GA – The On the Radar Hoops Fall Showcase in September provided the ultimate opportunity for many younger campers to show that they belonged on the same stage as some of the well-established veterans. Georgia is no stranger when it comes to talent and the Peach State will be loaded with players for years to come.

Isaiah Miller –Eastside HS – Guard – 2017

Perhaps the most athletic guard in the Peach State, Miller had his coming out party at the #OTRFallShowcase. Miller is a high flying guard that plays with great energy and is in attack mode at all times. He scores in transition by getting to the rim and is athletic enough to finish above the rim with a clear path. He is an excellent slasher as well and can hit the mid-range jumper when open and will knock down the open three

JD Notae – Newton County HS – Guard 2017

Notae is a shooting guard that is always on the attack. He gets to the rim in transition and finishes with acrobatic layups and pull up jumpers. He can score in a hurry as he showcased the ability to effectively get into the lane and knock down jumpers. He can also provide aid at the point guard position although he is clearly a shooting guard first

Jay Estime – Berkmar – 2017

Estimate is a good shooter off the catch or dribble with three point range. He is a strong guard with good speed and quickness off the dribble. He does an excellent job running the floor in transition, spotting up on the side of dribble penetration and coming off screens.

Deven Hubbard – Renaissance Christian Academy – 2017

The shooting guard is a deceptive athlete that gets into the paint at will. He has a very solid mid-range game, he understands when to drive to the rim and when to pull up before the bigs can contest his shot. He is a consistent threat from behind the 3-point arc; he showed good shot selection in not forcing many contested shot.

Allec Williams – Westover – 2016

Williams is a quick penetrating point guard. He is strong with ball and is good at creating for himself as well as others. He is an effective scorer off penetration and has the ability to get his teammates involved.

Reece Anderson – Douglas County – 2016

Recent transfer to Douglas County form Chapel Hill, Anderson showed the ability to take over games with his ability to score and find the open man with his good court vision. He can also set the offense and work off of on ball screens where he can get into the lane at will for a floater.
 

Aiden Saunders – Miller Grove – 2016

Saunders is a versatile athlete who has long arms and plays with a lot of confidence. He is athletic with good hops who finishes strong at the rim on his dribble drives and in transition where he is very active either finishing rim or knocking down the jumper.
