OTRHoopsReport.com National Evaluator Jonathan Hemingway tabbed Elijah Weems of Marietta, Ga. as the biggest stock riser of the 2013-14 season.  This 6-foot-3 combo-guard had an outstanding year which led to a year-long offensive outburst. He can create his offense off the dribble as well hit the jumper from long-range.  Weems had multiple 30 point performances this season and thus caught the attention of schools such as College of Charleston, Florida Atlantic, UNC-Ashville, Winthrop, and Wofford.

Banneker High School senior Isiah Greer caught the attention of many programs around the Southeast during the July evaluation period at the Elite 32 Session I. The 6-6 combo forward displayed the ability to create mismatches on the offensive end of the floor with his versatile and length. Greer showed that he can play on the perimeter and in the high post where he is capable of beating most forward off the dribble going either right or left to the basket.

Recruiting notes:

**Over 40 college programs attended the Spring Showcase. A number of players received interest from the programs in attendance

Class of 2014 PG JT Turner of Kell High School attacked the basket well in his second game which led to him drawing interest from Newberry and Piedmont. Turner visited Newberry earlier in this month.

St. Andrews offered class of 2014 PG McKinley Brown of Alpharetta, Ga. The 6-1 guard also caught the attention of West Georgia following a great showing in the Spring Showcase.

Gordon College and South Georgia Tech raved about the potential of  forward Malik Musgrove of Douglasville, Ga. Each program plans on getting him on their respective campuses in the coming weeks.

Simon Shafack of Sugar Hill, Ga. visited Southeastern Illinois Community College this past weekend and received an offer on the visit. The 6-4 wing brings athleticism and skill to the court. He had yet another solid showing at the Spring Showcase.
