Academic Excellence

Numerous Division III programs attend On the Radar Hoops Spring Showcase this weekend and there were a number of high academic prospects that left impressions with these coaches.  Senior forward Trey Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, showcased the ability to attack the basket going right to get to the rim. He consistently knocked down jumpers from 15 feet in. Jayson Snearl took advantage of the stage after missing half of the season due to injury. The 6-foot-6 forward from Mays High School in Atlanta is an athletic forward who plays hard on both ends of the floor. Starr’s Mill senior guard David Watson is a sniper from downtown. He was automatic from three point line during the morning session. Justin Edwards has the ability to attack the defense getting into the lane where he can pull up for the jumper or find open teammates. The 6-foot-1 guard was a major focal point in Buford High School championship run this season while sporting a 3.8 grade point average.
