#OTRHoopsReport: What we Learned-Blue Collar Basketball MLK Event-Jan. 23, 2014

Junior guard Ty Hudson has been impressive this year for Pebblebrook (GA)

Lilburn, Ga.  – There were many of the top programs in the state of Georgia participating in the Blue Collar Basketball Martin Luther King Showcase on Monday. College coaches from around the country stopped through Berkmar High School to watch some of the top talent in the state of Georgia.

Ty Hudson Pebblebrook (Mableton, Ga.) Pebblebrook – 2015

Hudson has been the most consistent player for a talented Pebblebrook squad that features several division-one players. The 2015 point guard matched up against fellow underclassman Will Jackson. The  6-foot guard showcased the ability to shoot the ball well from the perimeter.  However, his ability to get into the lane allowed him to be able to find his teammates for an open basket. Jerod Haase, the head at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, was in attendance to watch Hudson

Will Jackson (Athens, Ga.) Athens Christian – 2015

This 6-foot-5 lead guard is as talented as any guard in the country in his class.  Jackson may be a bit underrated at this point, because he missed the summer circuit with a minor knee injury. Because of his size, Jackson has the ability to play multiple positions sliding between both guard positions. After his 24 point performance on Monday evening, Memphis offered the junior guard.

Isaiah Wilkins (Norcross, Ga.)-  Greater Atlanta Christian – 2014

The 6–7 Virginia signee continues to impress each week making a strong statement for Mr. Georgia Basketball. Over the past year Wilkins has improved his offensive skill set where he is capable of knocking down shots from the high post or short corner. His relentless effort and energy on both ends of the floor has his team off to a perfect 20-0 start.
