B2BN All-American Camp Standouts – Class of 2029

Lawrenceville, Georgia – B2BN hosted their annual All-American Camp in Lawrenceville, Georgia from Saturday, October 5th to Sunday, October 6th featuring players from Georgia in the class of 2028-2036. Several prospects stood out from various classes and will be featured in post-camp articles. These post-camp articles will be done in a multi-part series that will highlight players who stood out during the live 5 v 5 games.

2029 | Braylen Alexander
2029 Braylen Alexander is a prospect that plays older than his age. Alexander has the game of a well developed and older player; high scoring ability that does well using his body to score in transition or off the catch around the perimeter. Can score off either hand and is quick on putbacks or finishing off the catch for second chance points. Does well reading the defense and slashing to the basket. Does well playing with his head up and seeing the court to find his teammates.
2029 | Anthony Bowman
2029 Anthony Bowman was a new face that made a lasting impression. Bowman has the skillset and IQ to be a prospect that continuously made an impact for his team. Bowman was able to do a variety of things for his team on both ends of the court, and was able to finish big time plays at the basket. Bowman showed he could connect from 10′ out and finish at the basket through contact. Bowman handles the basketball well and had some nice assists to open teammates.
2029 | Shane Collins
2029 Shane Collins is a long wing, who can play and guard each player on the court. Collins does well utilizing his long wingspan, and can finish plays with finger rolls around and above his defenders. Collins does well protecting the basket defensively and had several nice blocks during the 5 v. 5 games. Collins has been a constant standout during his middle school campaign and will be a player to keep an eye on when he makes his high school debut next fall.
2029 | Tamir Coppins
2029 G Tamir Coppins is a shifty guard that continuously makes plays for himself and his teammates. Coppins has great court vision and awareness; finding open spots in the defense and getting downhill quickly with limited dribbles. A player that can find his teammates on quick, last minute passes for assists. Coppins can also finish with either hand and does well scoring around the basket.
2029 | Cadien Hudson
2029 W Cadien Hudson was a big time eye opener this weekend and is a prospect who will play at the next level. Hudson is a 3-level scorer with the ability to knock down shots from outside the perimeter, hit the mid-range, or finish at the basket. Hudson is patient and evaluates his defender before making his move. Hudson has the fundamentals and skillset to consistently be a player at the top of his class.
2029 | Nigel Matthews
2029 Nigel Matthews is a wing that made plays with his ability to play above the rim. Matthews is uber athletic and dominated the glass on both ends. Matthews showed he could finish through traffic with euro steps, creating space from his defender and using his length to finish over his defenders.
2029 | Jacob Reid
2029 F Jacob Reid is a big who dominated the glass for his team. Reid is a bouncy prospect that is hard to stop once he gets within 5 feet of the basket. Reid is a high-motor player that gets to his spots quickly and is able to finish through contact. Once Reid gets going in the open court or in transition, expect to see some impressive, high-level dunks.
2029 | Elijah Ross
2029 Elijah Ross has been a standout the last two years for the B2BN All-American Showcase. Ross is a shifty lead guard that has strong hesitation dribbles, can stop on a dime for a basket or quick dump pass in for a teammate. Ross is hard once he gets going and can score it in a variety of ways. Crafty finisher and has a nice pull-up at the mid-range. Solid and sound prospect.
2029 | True Taylor
2029 G True Taylor is a shifty guard that can create plays for himself or his teammates. Taylor has great vision, finding holes in the defense and is able to to hit off the catch or two feet. Taylor has great fineness inside the paint, making acrobatic lay-ups around defenders.
2029 | Ja’Cori Thompson
2029 6’7″ F Ja’Cori Thompson is a prospect that can do it all inside and out. Thompson showed off his shooting and ball handling ability throughout the weekend by making plays, creating space, and finishing offensively. Thompson is a tough big to stop with his size, wingspan, and skillset. Great footwork inside and a soft touch around the basket.
2029 | David Whitaker
2029 David Whitaker will be a payer we continue to hear about over the next 4-5 years in Georgia. Whitaker has all the tools to dominant his competition. Whitkaker has incredible athleticism for his age and plays well above the rim on both ends. Whitaker has great shot making ability from outisde and does well on pull-up jumpers. Smooth, shifty play maker with a high ceiling.
