B2BN ‘Who Wants the Smoke?’ Camp Standouts

Lawrenceville, Georgia – B2BN hosted their annual ‘Who Wants the Smoke?’ Camp in Marietta, Georgia on Sunday, January 26th featuring players from the classes of 2029-2031. Several prospects stood out during the 5 v 5 games throughout the day that are featured in this article as prospects to track as they continue up the rankings in the state of Georgia.

2029 | Kayden Campbell

2029 G Kayden Campbell is a prospect who plays with a high motor and great intensity. Campbell was able to have spurts of complete domination, utilizing his size, strength, and skill set to find opportunities to score. Campbell did well finding opportunities to turn his defense into offense, getting open looks driving through the lane or passing out to his teammates. Campbell continuously made the right plays, knowing when to create for himself or his teammates.

 

2030 | Nate Crisp

2030 G Nate Crisp was one of the better lead guards at B2BN, finding his teammates in transition and racking in assists throughout the day. Crisp handled the ball well and was able to make plays for himself and his teammates with his keen sense of the game and court vision. Crisp also proved he could connect from outside, hitting several 3-pointers off the catch. Crisp also did well getting down hill, attacking the basket and finishing in traffic.

 

2031 | LJ Hall

2031 LJ Hall is prospect who continuously gets better each time he steps on the court. Hall came out hot early hitting 3-pointers off the catch and driving by his defenders to crafty lay-ups at the basket. Hall is supremely confident in his ability to score, and just as easily can find his teammates; pushing the ball up the court in transition or making long skip passes to find his teammates at the basket. Hall is one of the more versatile scorers in his class with a high work ethic.

 

2029 | Chase Kramer

2029 G Chase Kramer made his Georgia debut at B2BN. Hailing from Utah, Kramer has announced his move to the peach state and made himself known quickly. Kramer is a high clip lefty with range and came out hot from the jump. Kramer can play on or off the ball and understands spacing to find holes in the defense. Kramer’s ability to get by his defenders to score or find teammates stood out and his ability to find ways to score made him tough to guard.

 

2030 | King Leverette

2030 G King Leverette is a prospect who utilizes his size and athleticism to make plays on both ends of the court. Leverette proved he could contribute in a variety of ways from being an on ball defender to grabbing rebounds on both ends of the floor. Leverette used his strength and length inside to score over his opponents and battle for boards around the rim.

 

2031 | Lawrence McCoy

2031 Lawrence McCoy continues to standout at B2BN camps with his understanding of the game and drive to be one of the top performers. McCoy played the lead guard position with poise, making plays on the perimeter or around the basket. McCoy has a smooth release from deep, but also did well connecting around the mid-range.

 

2030 | Antonio Phillips

2030 Antonio Phillips is an electric player that always found his self in the right spot. Phillip plays fast and with a strong understanding of the game, was able to score in bunches and help propel his team to the winning side. Phillips is a long wing that plays well on both ends of the ball; disrupts his opponents on ball and anticipates passes in the passing lanes. Phillips also does well in the open court, finding holes that the defense provides and utilizes spacing to find quick looks at the basket.

 

2030 | Tallen Pinson

2030 Tallen Pinson is a prospect who makes the game look effortless on both ends. Pinson has a knack for scoring and making plays on the offensive side. Pinson also does well on the defensive end, using his athleticism to create steals and deflections, capitalizing on the offensive side. Pinson also proved his talents, playing up on multiple occasions and making it look just as easy as if he were playing against his own grade level.

 

2030 | Isiah Robinson

2030 G Isiah Robinson is a smooth lead guard that makes the game look effortless. Robinson was able to run point, making the right plays and finding opportunities to score against the defense. Robinson was able to turn defense into offense; actively rebounding and finding his teammates as outlets pushing it up the court quickly. Robinson also showed he could go coast to coast in seconds, maintaining the ball closely with his handles and speed. Robinson also did well playing off the ball, getting to his spots and hitting 3-pointers at a high clip.

 

2031 | Kartell Robinson

2031 Kartell Robinson quickly stood out with his ability to make plays for himself and his teammates from the start. Robinson is a hard nosed guard that had no problem taking it to the rim against taller opponents. Robinson has an understanding for how to score, despite his size inside and made some impressive shots around his opponents. Robinson did well running the lead position, making the right plays and even showed his ability for knocking down shots around the perimeter.

 

2031 | Landon Rudolph

2031 Landon Rudolph continues to prove he’s one of the best bigs in his class. Rudolph does well on both ends of the court in the interior, causing havoc for his opponents with his ability to guard and create deflections. Rudolph has a knack for rebounding and finding his teammates running the court in transition for easy lay-ups. Rudolph does well in offensive sets, posting up his defenders and making the right moves to the basket.

 

2031 | Micah Smith

2031 Micah Smith stood out with his ability to make plays as a big. In a camp filled of mostly guards, Smith was able to show his ability to make plays in the paint by utilizing his size, strength, and skill set. Smith did well using his length on either side of the basket and maintained an active pursuit of the ball. Smith’s length and activity inside prevented his opponents from driving to the basket, and if they did they were greeted by a block or deflection.

 

2031 | Syrus Stapleton

2031 Syrus Stapleton is a quick, crafty guard with a high IQ at the lead guard position. Stapleton is disciplined in making the right plays by creating opportunities for himself or his teammates. Stapleton sees the court well and proved he could play on or off the ball. Stapleton’s ability to understand the game poised him as a continuous threat with his ability to make the right reads and plays.

 

2031 | Amari White

2031 Amari White came out hot in the B2BN Camp from the jump in 5 v 5 play. White did well maintaining the interior for his teammates, accumulating rebounds and putbacks by his scrappy play. White did well keeping the ball out of reach against his opponents and utilized his footwork nicely inside to score. White also did well creating inside-out plays with his guards by creating just as many opportunities for them to score.

 

2031 | Charles Willis Jr.

2031 Charles Willis is a springy guard that can quickly make plays by reading his opponents and using his handles to get to the basket. Willis showed he could pull-up and knock it down, just as he crosses the half court. Willis’ ability to handle the basketball and make plays for his teammates in the open court or in offensive sets made him a constant threat throughout the day.
