SH Report Jamboree: Team Observations Part 3

CUMMING, GA – We finish our look from SH Report’s Jamboree with 3 more team capsules. By: Keith Agran MEADOWCREEK OUTLOOK: Part of that almost comically deep Region 7-7A, which will both afford them chances to show off their unquestioned talent but also provide a challenging path to a state tournament berth. The goods are there to be in the Bracket, and the 2023 class headlines with PG Keishawn Hampton and PF Eddie Hendricks, both of whom have used their last 2 summers with Norcross Heat to really expand their profiles and......

CUMMING, GA – We move to Part 2 from our look at SH Report’s Jamboree from Dobbs Ferry Rec Oct 10, and 3 more teams from the exciting day of non-stop hoops. By: Keith Agran GRAYSON – vs Walnut Grove It’s been quite a last 2 months in Loganville, as the roster defections that have become all too common have changed the look of the green and gold, yet there hasn’t been a ton of concerned wind blowing from Ram Country as there is still plenty in the cupboard for Coach Geoffrey......

SH Report Jamboree: Team Observations Part 1

CUMMING, GA – Dobbs Creek Recreation Center may have recently had a new AC-system installed, but the play of teams and players at SH Report’s Jamboree last weekend put that unit to the test as there was plenty of hot shooting and a ton of fire being shown on the floor. High School teams from all over the ATL-Metro and points further south and east descended on Cumming last Sunday for a furious day of games going on 6 courts, here are some opening team notes on what I saw: By: Keith......

Hoop Exchange Fall Showcase Notes Part 3

By: Keith Agran TAVARES, FL – We polish off our Florida coverage of the Hoop Exchange Fall Showcase with 4 more guys who really impressed from the Showcase portion of the fun event at The Big House. Sam Walters | 6-9 | Montverde Academy | 2023 Certainly when you see Montverde’s name you pay closer attention much like we do in Atlanta for Pace Academy, Greenforest or St. Francis for example, long and lean but a good mover he epitomized the modern stretch-4 with a smooth and really dangerous jump shot from......

HIRAM, GA – OTR hosted its Super 64 Showcase last Saturday at Hiram HS, and with 70+ kids on hand, the quality level in particular was among the highest of any of the many outstanding Showcases the last 6 weeks here in town. Thought it would be fun to do a Superlatives List similar to what I did with SH Report’s Showcase, try and get as many guys into meaningful categories as we can. By: Keith Agran TOP READY-MADE COLLEGE GUY(S)  Airious Bailey | 6-7 | SG/SF | Boyd Buchanan (TN) |......

By: Keith Agran Domas Kauzonas, 6-10, PF, Rabun Gap, 2023 (pictured above) One of several Rabun Gap guys in attendance who I was seeing for the first time and who made big impressions on everyone there, good movement at a legit 6-10 both as an interior scorer and defender and......
