On The Radar Hoops 2025 Event Schedule Release

We are thrilled to announce the On The Radar Hoops 2025 event schedule, packed with an exciting array of tournaments, showcases, and championship events tailored to provide top tier competition and exposure for players and teams nationwide. Our calendar spans various locations and offers unique opportunities for athletes to compete, develop, and gain visibility in front of college coaches and scouts. Here’s what to look forward to:

What’s New With OTR?

This season we are proud to present the On The Radar Hoops Circuit, the premier platform for high school teams to gain exposure, develop their skills, and compete at a high level. Built on a foundation of excellence, the On The Radar Hoops Circuit offers elite competition and unparalleled media exposure across the Southeast.

The On The Radar Hoops Circuit will take place throughout the Southeast, providing a chance for teams to showcase their talent across all around the region. With multiple stops and a championship bracket to end the season, this circuit is crafted to challenge players, while preparing them for the next level. Don’t miss the opportunity to become a On The Radar Hoops Sponsored program by showcasing your talent on the most prominent platform in the South.

The Run For The Cup series brings a new element to the On The Radar Hoops platform as these events have been crafted for those that play for a chance at taking home the gold. As the majority of our events have a matchup based format, these pool to bracket events serve as a change of pace as teams of every age group will have the opportunity to take home a trophy for their efforts. Future champions now have a series of events to call their own with OTR.

How could we not mention our partnered events with our friends down the street? A few weeks ago, OTR and HoopSeen announced a series of events that will utilize the platforms of two of the most well known names in grassroots.  The Warm Up (March 1 – 2) and The Southeast Takeover (May 2 – 4) will feature teams from the 2029-2033 classes, while The Main Event (April 4 – 6) will host the high school aged divisions. All 3 events signify a historic moment in grassroots basketball and have already landed on the schedules of many teams across the country.

The Florida Takeover (April 5 – 6) and The Florida Invitational (May 30 – June 1) are highly anticipated stops as they are the platforms first stops at the Pick A Ball Sports Complex in Deerfield Beach. This marks an opportunity for teams around the region to attend a premier destination while enjoying the level of basketball that you’ve come to expect on our platform.

New Traditions In The Carolinas

Teams from the Carolinas have been staples on the OTR platform for years with many of the top independent and sponsored teams having made their way to Atlanta. We’re now starting to return the favor with the creation of several events throughout various parts of both North and South Carolina. Carolina Mania (March 28 – 30) has quickly turned into a staple event over the past few years while The Carolina Classic (April 18 – 20) and Carolina Mayhem (July 5 – 6) The addition of The North Carolina Opening (March 28 – 30) gives teams a tune up event to use as an early measuring stick.

And then there was The Georgia vs Carolina Challenge (April 12 – 13), a late addition to our schedule last season was a direct response to the question of “Who is the real HoopState?” Both states have a well known history of producing some of the best talent in the country, and in an effort to keep the rivalry alive, the Georgia vs Carolina Challenge was born. This event features some of the best from both states in a bragging rights type of event in which a running score will be kept from year to year (Georgia currently leads 1 – 0). Hosted at the Greensboro Coliseum, this event gives teams a chance to represent their state in a way that hasn’t been seen in grassroots.

Some Old Favorites For The Elites…

The Opening (March 14 – 16), The Florida Opening (March 22 -23), Battle At The Beach (May 2 – 4), and The Rocky Top Invitational (May 2 – 4) have been some of our household events for the past few seasons. These along with a few other select events bring out the best in teams as they feature some of the best sponsored and elite independents around. And in case you needed a reminder, Summer Jam (April 18 – 20) will remain as the best event in the Southeast.

What’s For The Youth?

The Battleground Circuit is the premier circuit for 2029-2033 teams to compete in the Southeast. Year one of our Florida Battleground Circuit crowned multiple champions and set the tone for what will be an exciting second season. Teams will play a circuit style format, competing for seeding during the regular season to be placed in the championship bracket. Every team has the opportunity to play for gold on our Circuit.

With teams represented from every sponsored company along with elite independents, our primary Battleground Circuit remains as the measuring stick for elite programs that earned their reputation, or are looking to make a name for themselves. Both Circuits offer unique experiences in both its level of media exposure and competition.

The Live Periods

We will keep this one short and let coaches do the talking.
