OTR Hoops: Elite 32 Part II Standouts via David Hinds – July 17, 2024

Atlanta , Georgia, – The Live Period is here, and On the Radar Hoops scouts are flooding the scene across the greater Atlanta area. Teams from across the Southeast region is on full display putting in the hard work. Here is who stood out at the Elite 32.

By: David Hinds

Connor Neill – Atlanta Timberwolves– 2025

Connor Neill is a 6-foot-7 skilled wing that has a deep bag of tricks on the offensive end of the floor. Neill showed a multifaceted game that included plenty of easy buckets by camping out in the dunker spot, the ability to stretch the floor as a trail option, and the ability to work his defender from the low block with an array of post moves. Neill has one of the more aesthetically pleasing offensive games that I saw on the week.

Jarvis Williams – WR All-Stars – 2028

Jarvis Williams is a hard-nosed guard/wing prospect that has the clutch gene at a young age. I witnessed Williams hit one of the more impressive buzzer beaters of the weekend on a tremendously deep pull up three of off an inbounds play to secure a hard-fought victory. While he can score, I was more impressed with his point of attack defense that led to multiple steals on the less glamourous end of the court.

Caiden Braketa – B&B Basketball Academy– 2026

Caiden Braketa is quite possibly the best shooter that attended the Elite 32. A beautiful stroke is on display with the ability to get hot in a flurry. Caiden is just as comfortable spotting up as he is taking a sidestep into the three. Simply put, there isn’t a shooting scenario that Braketa is not comfortable in. There is more to his game than just shooting however as he showed the ability to lead a break and finish around the basket when needed.

Gaas Herman – Rocket City Suns – 2025

Gaas Herman is a staple of top performers in On the Radar events this spring and summer. The 6’3 shooting guard just seems to perform at every spot that he shows up in. The leading scoring threat for Rocket City Suns is a mid-range maestro who loves to stop and pop in transition. He is also quite adept at finishing around the basket where he is strong and willing to throw his body around with reckless abandon. It’s only a matter of time until the offers start rolling in for the Chattanooga native.

Miller Moody – Sewer South – 2025

Miller Moody is a 6-9 load on the block. Moody knows how to throw his weight around to clear out valuable space on either block to reach his patented over the shoulder baby hook. Not many in the high school ranks can prevent Moody from reaching his spots and securing easy buckets. The most impressive area of growth that he has shown is the ability to catch and shoot around the perimeter. Adding a pick and pop arsenal just makes this ’25 prospect that much more valuable.
