OTR Hoops: Elite 32 Part III Standouts via David Hinds – July 18, 2024

Atlanta , Georgia, – The Live Period is here, and On the Radar Hoops scouts are flooding the scene across the greater Atlanta area. Teams from across the Southeast region are on full display putting in the hard work. Here is who stood out at the Elite 32.
By: David Hinds
Daniel Daramola – Team Forrest – 2025
Daniel Daramola is a frequent flyer with On the Radar’s standout performers lists. The heart and soul of Team Forrest is a grinder. Standing about 6’9 with a seemingly endless wingspan, Daramola is not afraid to bang inside. I was particularly impressed with the intensity in which he sought out low post position. Daramola has progressed a ton over the years and is now a reliable low post scoring option with touch from either hand. Daramola is still a dominant rim protector as he has been for quite some time.
Jayden Parks – Team Person – 2025
The oft-forgotten member of the Team Person backcourt is a tremendous player in his own right. Playing behind Jacob Zhu and Sean Morgan can make it tough for anyone to stand out, however Jayden does a good job playing his role while still showing flashes of what makes him special. The high-octane guard recently picked up an offer from Alabama State and should receive more recognition than he does currently. A slasher at heart, he has recently expanded his range and is now a consistent shooter from the perimeter as well.
Dodge Davis – West Alabama Elite – 2025
Dodge Davis is a talented combo forward standing at 6’7. Davis is a competent shooter but makes his living by penetrating against slow footed wings/bigs and finishing with crafty maneuvers around the cup. Davis can finish with either hand and does a really good job of parlaying different angles into success. Davis is slight of frame but is not afraid to get inside on the boards either. Davis is a prospect that college coaches across the South should get some eyes on.
LG Williams – Rocket City Suns – 2025
LG Williams was a key contributor in the Rocket City Suns 5-1 effort this weekend. The sharpshooter out of Mountain Brook HS showed just what makes him dangerous. A silky-smooth jumper with a quick release is the bread and butter of LG’s game. A smart and well-coached player, LG does a good job making the extra pass and always seems to be in the right spot defensively. Williams is hoping to parlay his summer success into a prominent role with his championship contending HS team.
Justin Holloway – 3D Elite – 2025
Justin Holloway is overflowing with potential. I don’t know what position to label Holloway as but that is more a testament to his versatility than anything. When watching 3D Elite you may see Holloway initiating offense, finishing around the rim, or spotting up around the perimeter. That is not even getting into his swiss army knife abilities on the defensive end. Holloway will play somewhere in college, the question is just what level he ends up at.
