OTR Hoops: Friday Night Standouts from the Atlanta Classic – March 31, 2025

Standouts from Friday of the Atlanta Classic.
By: Jaron Pierre-Mathurine
Omari Alleyne 2029 6’3 G PNP
The younger brother of Nahiem Alleyne, O is getting acclimated to the scene and has been trending up over the course of this year alone. He’s a big guard coming in at 6’3 already and has a good feel and handle for the game at his age. Beast in transition, can guard multiple positions, and shows a good fundamental skill set as he can do damage in the low block area as well. He will def be a name to monitor over the years due to his size and resources to the game.
Christian Pak 2026 6’2 G Hoop Atlanta
I was glancing over at Hoop Atlanta matchup when I caught CP dissecting the defense and showing off his full arsenal. He had a stretch where he connected on a catch and shoot 3, walked his man down to his spot and made the jumper, then got to the same spot for an assist all in sequential plays. The iq and feel is high for the game and he was consistent throughout the entire weekend keeping Hoop Atlanta in every game. Good size, always moving and utilizing screen, can catch and shoot or create off the dribble and didn’t shy from comp. Should be a strong summer for him leading into sr yr.
Jordan Dennis 2029 5’9 G Tier 2 Elite
Jordan was wired to score buckets, and it was a beauty to watch. Wired so much that he knows his shot to a tee. If he’s open or a hand is not up he went through the motions with ease and his jumpers were pretty much free throws. A 3 level scorer, he wants the ball in his hands to make a play and created well off the dribble. This group had some quality pieces but JD was the go to for a bucket.
Aj Bowman 6’3 F 2029 Tier 2 Elite
Aj displays the size that you look for early and once he got warmed up and in the flow of the game left his mark in many ways. Strong going down hill due to his 6’4 frame and he attacks the basket with a vengeance. Good post game as well knocking down some turn around jumpers and baby hooks. He crashed the boards well, did the dirty work and was a focal point for his group this weekend.
Trace Adcock 2029 6’4 G/F Georgia Generals
The first thing that attracts you to TA is his long slender frame. Known as a big time shooter with his ability to shoot over most defenders, and knowing his spots well on the court, Trace fills it up quickly. He makes some of the cleanest transition passes getting the ball up hill which I think is a very underrated part of his game. Also what I was really impressed with was his defensive abilities. He was physical, light on his feet and was able to stick with and stay in front of smaller guards as well. His length made him disrupt shot attempts and passing lanes and if he continues to focus on that end just as hard as his scoring, he will only continue to trend up.
Jackson Baldwin 2029 Tier 2 Elite
Jackson was an effective pass first guard, with a tight handle. Very unselfish style of play as he understands the talent around him and is always looking to put them in scoring positions. Rarely rushed or wavered with stout defenses and understands pace and how to control the temp. Good basketball minds in the T2E system resulting in multiple standout performances.
