OTR Hoops: Super 64 Camp Standouts – August 30, 2024

NORCROSS, Georgia, – On the Radar Hoops hosted the annual Super 64 Camp at Norcross High School last weekend. Over 80 prospects from around the Southeast trained and competed in front of media outlets from the Atlanta area. Here is a final look at names that we took note of at the event.

By: Jonathan Hemingway

198 – Bryce Irby – Greenforest McCalep Christian Academic Center – 2025

Irby has been on our radar as an up-and-coming prospect for the past year or more. His play with Team Forrest on the OTR circuit has earned him attention and recognition. He has a solid jumper and footwork that allows him to score the ball from the perimeter. We really liked how Irby got after it on the defensive end during camp. His strong hands and willingness to stick his nose into tight situations will make him a defensive difference maker this season. He is a competitor who will make winning plays this season.

220 – Zyree Brown – Pebblebrook High School – 2026

Brown was one of the top junior point guards at the camp. He is confident with his ball handling and can turn the corner versus the defense with either hand. We like how Brown was able to set up his teammates on the penetrate and kick action from the top of the key. He is a space creator that will work well around good shooters.

249 – DJ Ituome – Greenforest Academy – 2025

Ituome got off to a great start at the camp. He was active in the paint and around the rim on either end of the court. He blocked shots and anticipated well as a rebounder and defender. He also showed an array of offensive skills. He hit a jump hook in a post-up situation. He also handled the ball in the open court and proved he can be a versatile threat on the floor.

175 – Cameron Jackson – Alexander High School – 2026

Jackson is a great athlete with terrific skill. He dominated large segments of the camp with his shot making ability and his electric athleticism. The suddenness with which he gets to the rim is hard for defenses to deter. He has long arms and pristine footwork that allows him to finish above and around lunging defenders. We have identified Jackson as one of the top juniors in the state coming out of this camp.

219 – William Myles – Etowah High School – 2026

Myles is a quick, slashing point guard who impacts the game in multiple ways. He proved to be a consistent shot maker and ball handler. He is an unselfish player who is just as willing to dish and involves teammates with playmaking. On the defensive end he grabbed our attention as well. He is gritty and willing to mix it up with steals and loose balls. He ought to bring value to the Eagles this season.

149 – Jayden Crawford – Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School – 2026

Crawford proved himself to be one of the top athletes at the camp. He rattled the rims with several transition dunks. The junior guard showed flashes of athleticism on either end of the floor beyond just dunking. He is an intriguing prospect to track this upcoming year.

184 – Joshua Brown – Dacula High School – 2028

Brown proved he can compete with the upperclassmen at the camp. With calmness, he handled the ball and made plays in the lane. His vision with passing is a signal to us that he has what it takes to develop into a prospect that we will be mentioning for years to come.

180 – Nathaniel McDaniel III – Sprayberry High School – 2026

McDaniel heated up at the camp last weekend as an offensive threat. The lefty connected on consecutive threes in one sequence. He hit a dribble up in transition and then hit a sidestep 3-pointer to avoid a hard close out. Beyond his shooting prowess, he demonstrated his play making skill with some timely dribble moves. He uses hesitation moves and quick hands to dish to cutting teammates.
