OTR Hoops: Sweet Sixteen – Day 2 Standouts and Notes – May 19, 2024

The Live Period is here and, On the Radar Hoops, scouts are flooding the scene across the greater Atlanta area. Teams from across the Southeast region are on full display putting in the hard work. Here is who stood out on Day 2 of the Sweet Sixteen.

2026 6-5 CG Kayden Allen (Nightrydas EYBL 2026)

Allen, A 6-5 sophomore combo guard burst onto the scene and makes his offensive game look so effortless. Allen showcased his ability to score on all three levels and plays with a competitive edge as well on the defensive end. His game has grown in a variety of ways where he is playing more freely when guarding off the ball as well as improved footwork whether he’s guarding above or below the rim. Don’t be surprised to see a big leap in his recruitment heading into the summer.

2025 6-8 PF Kyler Fox (Blue Collar Basketball)

Fox, listed at 6-8 is a dominant big who can play an inside-out game on the offensive end where he can be a force from the perimeter when playing with confidence. On the defensive end, Fox’s length stuck out with his ability to block shots and rebound at a high level. Fox will be a name to keep tabs on as the summer rolls on.

2027 6-0 PG Kade Manley (XPC Elite) (Pictured at Top)

Manley, listed at 6-0 is one of the toughest point guards in the state for the freshman class. Manley displayed his great decision making as well as his ability to handle the basketball under pressure continues to take huge strides. In a win over Elite Jr. Sports, Manley finished with a game-high 26 points including knocking down the game-winning shot.

2025 6-4 SF Timothy Key (Powerhouse Bulls)

Key adds a great combination skillset whether it’s his size or his ability to handle the ball under pressure. Key plays with an unselfish edge where he is a great passer on the move where he can find open teammates. He can also score at will across all three levels where he finished with a game-high 26 points in a win over Tennessee Panthers.

2025 6-2 SG Hutson Rowe (Panhandle Prospects)

Rowe, is listed as a 6-2 shooting guard but can occasionally run the point where his handles are smooth as well as his decision making on when it comes to shooting versus passing the ball. On the defensive end, Rowe guarded positions 1 through 4 with his versatility and ability to block shots at the rim. Rowe also showcased he can play at any pace as well as doing an excellent job when it comes to defending on the ball.

2027 5-9 PG Dylan Scheets (Above Academy)

Scheets, listed at 5-9 has a strong IQ and plays very unselfish doing what it takes to win every time he steps onto the floor. Scheets is a prolific passer whether it’s on the move or off the bounce. His toughness on the defensive end has also spoken high volumes where he can guard multiple positions and is unafraid to challenge shots above the rim. Excited to see the growth in Scheets’ game over the next few years.

2024 6-8 PF Caden Totten (AJ Bouye Elite)

Totten remains one of the top unsigned seniors playing this weekend at the Sweet Sixteen. Totten showed a ton of length and athleticism when it comes to guarding around the rim as well as having the footwork to guard out on the perimeter. Look for Totten to have a huge breakout summer and don’t be surprised if he announces a college decision in the next couple of weeks.

2025 6-4 SF Kyden Wiley (PSB Tampa Elite 17U)

The 6-4 junior wing plays above the rim with any of them as his athleticism is through the roof. Wiley can be effective whether it’s off the catch or bounce as he can finish through traffic against multiple defenders. On the defensive end, Wiley showcased his high energy and rebounding ability who is on the poise to having a breakout summer as well as heading into his senior season.
