Underclassmen Leave Their Mark

Buford, Ga. – The EBA Top 40 workout was a good chance for several underclassmen to show their abilities in a skill and competition setting. Although the camp was headlined by several seniors, there were several underclassmen who proved that we will be talking about them for years to come.

Sophomore guard D’Marcus Simonds of Buford, Ga. has emerged as one of the top guards in the state of Georgia. This 6-foot-4 guard averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds per contest this season t to lead his team to the Class AAA state championship game. Simonds is a big time scorer that does it all with the ball in his hands.

Kendrick Summerour of Marietta, Ga.is one of the craftiest guards that we have seen all year. He did more of the same in this workout as defenders were unable to stay in front of the freshman play-maker.

Keeton Glover of Hoschton, Ga. showcased the ability to shoot the ball well off the catch and the dribble. We’re looking forward to seeing more of the sophomore guard over the next couple of years.
