#OTRHoopsReport – Got Next? – March 13, 2014

Khavon Moore is next up in the state of Georgia. Look for him to burst on to the scene this summer.

The On the Radar Hoops Fall Showcase this past September provided the ultimate opportunity for many younger campers to show that they belonged on the same stage as some of the well-established veterans. Georgia is no stranger when it comes to talent and the Peach State will be loaded with players for years to come. Khavon Moore, as only an eighth grader, showed why he will be regarded as one of the top players in the country in the class of 2018.

Although young, he already possesses skill well beyond his years. He is a natural wing forward but he is proving that he can play all three perimeter positions. Moore is a very good ball handler for his size as he can put the ball on the floor in traffic while also being able to distribute with the pass.  When you add in his ability to shoot the ball out beyond the three-point arc, he has the tools to be a top recruit in his class.

The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 29 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists this year while splitting time between both the 8th grade and junior varsity. Moore led Weaver Middle School to a perfect record claiming the district championship.
