The unsigned senior guard has gotten off to a fast start this season where he has dropped multiple 40 point plus games. This weekend was no different as Blakeney dropped 33 points Saturday night followed up with a 36 point performance Sunday afternoon. Blakeney is one of the top scorers in the senior class, because of his size position and his big-time stroke from deep range. He is creative offensively with the ability to play at different speeds and score effectively against man, zone and in transition.
Simeon Carter (Charlotte, NC) – West Charlotte – 2015
College programs are searching high and low for quality big men this late in the year. Carter certainly raised his stock Saturday afternoon in front of numerous college coaches in attendance. He is a good athlete who plays well above the rim and has good mobility for a big man. This 6-foot-9 post showed flashes of being able to score with his back to the basket and caught everything thrown his way and then was able to finish through contact.
Markelle Fultz (Upper Marlboro, MD) – DeMatha-2016
Our staff had an opportunity to watch Fultz earlier this fall at the John Lucas Midwest Invitational as he was one of the standouts. Fultz showed more of the same on Saturday as he made plays down the stretch to help DeMatha hang on for a win against Chaminade College Prep. Fultz had a game high 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting. He can drive to score or dish showing the ability to read the defense and make decisions while in attack mode.

Blackmon had the most efficient outing of anyone over the weekend. Blackmon finished with 31 points and 4 assists while shooting 14-for-14 from the floor which included (2) made three pointers. Blackmon was effective penerating the defense where he fnished with a lay-up, floater, or found Carter underneath the basket for the finish.
DJ Harvey of Hyattsville, MD., attacked consistently throughout the day knocking down pull up jumpers and finishing on drives to the basket.
Saturday afternoon againast Our Savior, Terrance Ferguson was clicking on all cylinders offensively as he finished with 33 points knocking down eight three-pointers in a close loss.
