McIntosh High School is off to a perfect start this season with a record of 14-0. Junior guard Jordan Lyons has played a huge role in the Chiefs success this year, as he is averaging 23 points per game while shooting 41 percent from behind the three point arch. His shot is crisp with a high release and he gets it off quick. He has a high basketball IQ and knows how to move without the ball to get open. He has improved his dribble-drive game and does a solid job of getting to the basket.
Coming out of the summer evaluation period, Lyons was tabbed as one of the top guards in the state after his performance in the Elite 32 Tournament playing for Heat Check. This play has continued to carry over into the season which has helped McIntosh take over the #2 spot in the Georgia Class AAAA rankings. Lyons currently holds offers from Liberty, Middle Tennessee State, Old Dominion, Troy and Tennessee Tech.
