Standouts from On the Radar’s Elite 32 (Part 2)

Marietta, Georgia – On the Radar was back in Marietta, Georgia to host Elite 32 following the completion of June high school basketball. This tournament highlighted noteworthy prospects from independent and shoe teams who are college ready or on the verge of becoming a true college prospect within the next few years. This feature specifically highlights 2025 and 2026 standouts in a four part series.

2025 | Christopher Maxon | Florida Pro Basketball

Image

2025 guard Christopher Maxon had an outstanding shooting performance with a baseline of coaches at Elite 32. Maxon hit 6 3-pointers against a loaded Team United EYBL team. Maxon is a confident, quick release shooter regardless of opponent. Maxon has elite footwork and release that allows him to shoot at a high percentage. Maxon does a nice job getting his body in position and squared up for the release. Maxon does well running the guard spot and finding his open teammates in the open court. High level player with lots of interest.

2025 | Kennedy Okpara | AOT

Image

2025 forward Kennedy Okpara is a player that is hard to miss on the court. Okpara is able to effect the game in a variety of ways and is continually involved in plays. Okpara led AOT in the morning win with 21 points coming from 10′ and in, and going up for several impressive dunks. At 6’7″ Okpara has a naturally long wingspan, and added with his ability to soar, he’s a tough player on both ends of the court. Okpara does well and understands his role, and after grabbing rebounds, he’s able to get down the court quickly with his high-motor. Okpara is a player to continue to track here in Georgia.

2025 | Will Paulson | SW IL Jets

Image

2025 wing Will Paulson is a player to know coming out of Elite 32. Paulson has the ability to play inside and outside, and is a threat on the perimeter. Paulson connected on 5 3-pointers including one to force the game to overtime. Paulson has the ability to stretch the floor for his team, and is a threat around the basket with his size, length, and skillset. Paulson is a high IQ player that makes the game look easy. Highly engaged and competitive prospect that will make an impact at the next level.

2025 | Jake Rice | Chicago Hoops

2025 wing Jake Rice may have been my favorite new prospect at Elite 32. Rice had multiple 20+ point games throughout the weekend and carried his team on several occasions. In the win over Florida Rebels, Rice went for 21 points off four 3-pointers. Rice is a three-way scorer and is smooth with the basketball. Rice can be a lead guard running the offense, finding his shots or finding his teammates for assists. Rice has the size and strength to go right at defenders and proved to be hard to stop once he got going downhill. Rice picked up a D1 offer from UAlbany last month and I anticipate him having more interest with this upcoming Live Period.
