OTR Hoops: Power 24 Top 2027-2028 Prospects – July 24, 2025

Marietta, GA- The On the Radar Elite Power 24 was the last Live Period event of the summer for travel basketball. Coaches from multiple levels and conferences attended multiple gyms taking notes and following up on prospects. Here is a look at some of the players in the 2027 and 2028 classes that stood out across the three-day event.

By: Joel Hillsman

2027 Whitefield “Whit” Bynoe (Sunshine Elite OTR) DO not let the size fool you, Bynoe is a budding prospect with an exceedingly high ceiling. His quickness, playing off the ball, playing on the ball, his moxie and competitive fire is there. He can stroke it from beyond the arc at a high clip, can attack off the dribble and has excellent vision to rack up assists. He can shoot the basketball and showed it by splashing in five three-pointers one contest. He then showed an adjustment in his game in another contest where he was being run off the line, so he attacked and finished at the rim and drew fouls to get to the foul line. Savvy, sound and heady while averaging 17.5ppg in those games we observed. He is a prospect to track.

2027 Bryce Hoffert (Sunshine Elite OTR); Hoffert is sneaky athletic. He made a couple of moves including an air reverse layup and a put back dunk with authority that made you take notice. He oversees the ball well on the perimeter, can shoot it and can get by defenders to finish off the attack. He guards his yard defensively, uses his body when defending below the foul line and moves well on the perimeter when defending. His 16.5ppg in the games we observed showed pieces of everything his game has to offer.

2027 DeCori Fleming (Team Next Gen) Fleming is a bouncy 6’3 guard that attacks the rim with dunks and plays through contact. He can stretch the floor with his ability to hit the mid-range jumper and deeper. Fleming is a pest on defense with active hands, which he uses to turn defense into offense. He averaged 17ppg in the games we observed. Fleming’s best effort we saw was 21-point effort with three three-pointers made in a win.

2027 Kei Scott (AB Elite 16U) The Texas guard is known for putting up some solid scoring numbers this past high school season. In travel ball he plays more of a pure point/lead guard role. His scoring numbers did not jump off the page during this event but his assists numbers and poise at the point guard spot did. The guard is crafty with the basketball on the drive, can play through contact, creates for teammates (with outstanding vision), gets to his spots at his speed, is very coachable and focused on defense. As Scott continues to develop and round his overall game into form, he is a prospect to track. He averaged 10.5 points and 3 assists in the games we charted.

2027 Ty Sorrells (Triangle Offense Elite OTR) Sorrells plays with passion, effort, and a high IQ. He shows a knack of knowing when to give his team something at the right moment. A ten-point, five-assist effort with multiple defensive impact plays down the stretch of a close win displayed that. Sorrells has a nice pull up game and can score off the bounce while also creating contact to get to the foul line.

2027 Nick Lunn (Stars Basketball Club 16U) Lunn displayed a fundamental game that included sound defense, communication and high energy. Then he began scoring in a variety of ways by filling it up from the mid-range, off back cuts, off the bounce and with contact for And 1s. Lunn finished with 21 points, 13 in the second half during a key stretch of a victory. Lunn should be tracked.

2028 Nate Pemberton (Dor5 Elite) Pemberton is a potent outside shooter who sprayed it in from different spots on the floor with plenty to spare from distance. The lanky wing shot it off the catch and off the bounce with confidence and was efficient. His length allows him to shoot it over taller/longer defenders. The length is impactful on defense as well as recording multiple blocks. As Pemberton continues to add to his game he should be tracked.

2028 Jeremiah Harper (Team Wall 15U) Harper is a combo guard that showed flashes of how potent his game can be. He ran the offense well in the half court, in transition, played off the ball and scored every time he got below the foul line with his quick first step. He showed the ability to hit jumpers from the perimeter, connecting on three three-pointers in one contest. In three games he averaged 13.6ppg.

2028 Myles Nobles (AC Georgia NXTPro); Nobles can shoot the basketball. In three games he connected on 15 three-pointers and averaged 20ppg in those games. He has good footwork when going into his shot, shoots it from different areas of the floor and runs the floor well to connect on a couple of transition three-pointers. His footwork on the defensive end is solid and he is not afraid to get rebounds. His continued development will be interesting to track.
