Loughridge to Lipscomb
Loughridge of Crystal River, Florida, gave his verbal commitment to coach Kevin Carroll and the Bisons of Lipscomb University last week. The 6-foot-10 center played for PSB Elite on the OTR Circuit and will suit up for The Rock National Team this winter.
Ross Van De Griek wrote this about his game from the Battle at the Beach in May:
“He plays with poise and patience on the block. Defensively he blocks and alters shots at the rim.”
College coaches are anxious to find big men with size and versatility. Loughridge fits the bill as he is proven as a low block scorer and is capable of stretching the floor from 3-point range.
Watch Kris Watkins video on Loughridge’s game here:
Hendrix Loughridge does a good job of craving out space around the basket where he can finish through contact.
He also showed the ability to make jumpers from the short corner and high post.

Loughridge’s development was delayed when he suffered a knee injury during his sophomore year. However, he has bounced back and put in the time to become a collegiate prospect. Here is what his PSB Tampa club coach, Collin Robbie had to say about big man:
“I’ve had the privilege of coaching Hendrix for the last two year, and he has improved tremendously over that time. He has a relentless work ethic. He is driven to get better every single day and is a competitor. The future is bright for him as he has only scratched the surface of his potential.”
Johns Creek guard Ben Uhde Trending this Off-Season
Uhde is a unique prospect in that he brings shooting ability and size to the floor. He has been a consistent performer on the OTR Circuit with the Georgia Legacy over the past year. The 6-foot-4 prospect was tabbed as a prospect to watch at the Power 24 in July and backed that up by averaging 23 points per game and shooting 44% from 3-point range.
He has picked up recent offers from Hope College in Michigan and Sewanee in Tennessee. Last month he took visits to Simpson College in Iowa and Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia.
Check his highlights from the GA vs NC Challenge back in April:
