Jamil Robinson - ELCA - 2027

A great recruiting story, Robinson used an outstanding June to elevate his stock which ultimately led to his NC State commitment. The 6-foot-10 big man is an athletic, active player who can dominate the paint on both ends. He has a good motor and second bounce which allows him to control the rim on both ends. Robinson is a lefty with range on his jumper too. He can be a pick-and-pop weapon.

Galen Roberts - KIPP - 2027

Roberts is a versatile mismatch. He has a blend of athleticism and skill that allows him to attack in a variety of ways. He can play above the rim and block shots near the basket, but he can also step away and hit shots. Roberts is a difficult player to prepare for at this level. He should be on track for a big-time winter.

Bryon Lee - Grayson - 2027

It is a benefit to everyone when a big man isn’t afraid to play like a big man, and that’s exactly what Lee does well. Long and athletic, Lee is an assertive forward who looks to punish the rim whenever he gets the chance. There’s no fear of him going up softly. That applies to the defensive side of the ball too. Lee is a rim-protecting presence. He’s one of the best available forwards in the state’s senior class.

Anthony Moon - Pebblebrook - 2027

Moon is a tremendous defensive prospect with his switchability and feel. He protects the rim and can cover guards with his length and mobility. He’ll provide the Falcons a consistent paint presence on offense and has the ability to space the floor. Moon has been a consistent player over the last several years. Expect a productive high school season from him.

Gavin Fountain - Pace Academy - 2027

Fountain has the strength and physicality to play in the post. He can be a productive player down there if he needs to. Fountain has a skilled paint approach and can power through players. He has the skill to play on the perimeter if that’s what he needs to do too. Fountain can guard multiple positions too. He has committed to Mercer.

Lukas Romine - Hebron - 2027

Recently committed to Georgia College and State University, Romine is one of the most complete forwards in Georgia. He can play both on the perimeter and around the basket and has a well-rounded skillset. Romine is a connective player with his ability to be a passer and secondary playmaker. He hits shots and has above-the-rim game that catches people off guard. Romine is a consistent rebounding presence as well. It’s not hard to see the scalability in his game. He could be an up transfer in time.

Preston McVey - Gilmer - 2027

There isn’t a bigger post presence in Georgia than McVey. At 7-foot-1, he has game-changing size. McVey establishes position well and uses his frame to overwhelm people. His game has continually gotten more polished over time too. McVey has committed to the University of North Georgia and has the kind of game that can keep getting better at the next level.

Christian Gatewood - Eastside - 2027

A high-motor forward, Gatewood plays as hard or harder than anyone in the state. A ton of his success comes from his energy and pursuit of the ball. He is a tough, athletic player with plenty of bounce. Gatewood can be successful at multiple spots on both ends of the floor.

Noah Brady - Mount Vernon - 2027

Brady is a forward with unlockable potential still. He is a strong driver with much improved touch around the rim. Brady is a solid playmaker for those around him too. He can use his threat with the ball in his hands to dish to teammates. His trajectory has been upward for the last several years. Brady is committed to West Georgia.

Jaquavion Gilmore - KIPP - 2027

There’s a combination of power and poise to Gilmore’s game. He uses his body well to create space for himself in the paint. It’s a crafty but strong approach. Gilmore can punish the rim or play with dexterity in the mid post area. He’s a great target for his guards to deliver the ball to.

James Lee - Morrow - 2027

An underrated prospect, Lee is a force in the paint. He can dominate stretches of games. Big, physical, long, when Lee gets position, he’s tough to stop. He doesn’t mind a bruising game, and at 6-foot-8, there aren’t many people at this level who can match up with him around the basket.

Peter Julius - ELCA - 2028

Julius is a menace in the paint on both ends of the floor. He is one of the best rim presences in high school basketball. Long, athletic, strong, and a great motor, Julius does his job as well as anyone. He’ll rebound, protect the rim, and score everything around the basket. He’s already drawn plenty of high-major attention but will be a focal point for schools next spring and summer.

Laron Mack - Dutchtown - 2028

Mack can play multiple forward spots. He is a plus athlete who can create highlights at the rim. Mack can also hit shots from the perimeter and score off the bounce. He can be a slashing threat from the wing. Mack has a lot of tools and can make a huge impact at Dutchtown this winter.

Baer Bailey - Greater Atlanta Christian - 2028

Bailey has shown that he’s one of the more skilled forward prospects in Georgia’s 2028 class. He has a strong face-up game and can score it well from multiple levels. He has a good bag of tricks to free himself up in the mid-range and can shoot over smaller defenders.

Landon Evans - St. Francis - 2028

Evans is one of the very best mid-range players in Georgia regardless of position or class. He is lights out from the elbows. He’s shown that he can put the ball on the floor and be a mismatch issue at 6-foot-6. Evans is a tough rebounder too. He’s not afraid of a physical game. He finds ways to impact the game and will be a popular name among college coaches next spring and summer.

Corey Harris - Southwest Atlanta Christian - 2028

It feels like Harris is just getting started as a prospect. Lean, long, mobile, he has the tools to continue to develop into a really nice two-way player. He’s already good now. Harris can cover a lot of ground defensively with his agility and enveloping length. He’s a good option offensively as an assertive dunker and offensive rebounder.

Tenaje Freeman - Jonesboro - 2028

6-foot-10 with a plus wingspan, Freeman is one of the most formidable rim protectors in the region. His defense is his calling card. Freeman is a game changer on that end of the floor. He’s a reliable scoring presence too though. He’s a strong finisher who can throw down powerful dunks. Freeman is a frontcourt prospect to watch this high school season.

Kamari Grier - Tri-Cities - 2028

Grier can punish people in the paint. He has a powerful game and can be a great lob threat, but he also has touch that can extend away from the basket. Grier has good post moves to play a finesse game, and he has toughness to be in a physical battle. Paired with Tre Keith, Grier is a breakout candidate at Tri-Cities this season.

JaCori Thompson - Grayson - 2029

Thompson is a skilled and developing forward at this stage in his career. His best attribute right now is his skill. He can really space the floor with his jumper and he has good hands and feet in the paint. This season at Grayson, he’ll pair well with Byron Lee to add a different dynamic in the front court. As Thompson develops more of a bully-style game, he’ll keep ascension in his trajectory.

Alvin Pettway - McEachern - 2029

Pettway is one of the most promising young big men in the region. His best asset is that he’s not afraid to use his size to his advantage. He’s 6-foot-9 and plays like he’s the biggest guy on the floor. Pettway is a fantastic rebounder who battles for boards and makes his presence felt in that aspect of the game. He’s also a tremendous post scorer with good feel and touch.

Symeon Watson - Jonesboro - 2029

There’s a ton of upside in Watson’s game. The 6-foot-8 forward is in the jumbo wing, stretch forward archetype. He is impressively skilled for his size and age on the perimeter. Watson is a legitimate shooter with the ability to put the ball on the floor and handle it enough to be a playmaking option. It’s exciting to think about where he could be as a prospect later in his career.

Joseph Ogunyemi - Darlington - 2029

A 6-foot-9 sophomore, Ogunyemi has plenty of upside. His game is still rounding into form, but he’s a consistent presence on the glass. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him average double-digit rebounds this season. Ogunyemi has a fresh base and frame to overpower people on the glass. The same can be said for his offensive game. When he gets the ball down low, look out because he’s a dunking machine. He’s on track to have a productive season with Darlington.

Derek Williams - Alexander - 2029

Williams is brimming with potential. At a legit 6-foot-9, he’s one of the most impressive defensive prospects in the state. Williams is already a plus on that end of the floor with his ability to protect the rim and his switchability at this level. As he starts to gain more experience and his game continues to round into form, he could develop into an in-demand big for the next level.

Kenneth Phillips Jr. - Allatoona - 2029

If you’re looking for a prospect to breakout in Georgia’s 2029 class this winter, Phillips Jr is a guy to keep an eye on. A two-way impact, he has a sky-high ceiling at around 6-foot-8 or so. Phillips is a possession ender with his rim protection and rebounding. It’s hard to get second chances around him. On the other end, he’s a versatile lefty with good touch on his jumper and an assertive mindset closer to the basket.

Xavien Littleton - Coffee County - 2029

An in-demand prospect on the gridiron, Littleton brings dual-sport athleticism to the hardwood. He is athletic with a high motor and plenty of football strength and toughness. That all combines to make Littleton a tough matchup in the paint. He can bully opponents around the basket. No matter which sport he’s playing, Littleton is an impressive athlete and a productive player.
