EMERSON, Georgia — While most eyes stay on the rising seniors during live period events, there’s a chance for college coaches to start building their future boards. Here is Part 1 of our 2028 standouts from Power 24.

Toby Strech – Atlanta Standard 17U

Strech had a strong weekend at Lake Point. He made 30 threes across seven games and shot 57% from long range. He has stepped up as the main scorer for the new Atlanta Standard program, averaging 17 points per game. His shooting form and production make him one of the better shooters in Georgia’s 2028 class.

Edmund Dantes – Warner Robins All-Stars 17U

Dantes continues to trend up under coach Tat Brooks. The 6-foot-4 wing brings strength and versatility. He finishes through contact at the rim and battles on the glass. He impacts the game in multiple ways and puts in steady work on both ends without specializing in one area.

Griffin Reese – Georgia Legacy

Reese has waited for his chance with Georgia Legacy. He showed flashes earlier this spring, but everything clicked this past weekend. He scored over 20 points in multiple games and knocked down six threes in one of them. Beyond the scoring, he has earned respect for his defense with the program.

Mekhi Grey – Beach Boys Elite

Grey put together a big Saturday afternoon and took home Hibbett MVP honors. The 6-foot-6 wing-forward dominated in the paint with rebounds, blocks, and tough finishes. He shows more than just interior play, though. His agility and skill give him a chance to develop into a full-time wing. We’ll keep watching his progress.

Kamari Kilgore – Sewer South

You could make a case that Kilgore is one of the most talented point guards on the circuit, regardless of class. He handles the ball with confidence and runs the game with poise. He leads his team in scoring most nights without forcing shots. Sewer South played up in 17U this weekend and went 6-1.

Noah Powell – Crimson Kings

We caught Powell on Sunday afternoon. He showed the same athleticism and explosiveness people mentioned earlier in the weekend. He dropped 28 points against Sewer South. His quick jumps and pull-up touch let him score in bunches.

Adrian Pozo – PSB Elite Tampa

Pozo had already drawn attention from evaluators leading into Power 24. This weekend provided a strong first in-person look. He looks bigger and more athletic live than he does on film. He handles the ball confidently and absorbs contact in the backcourt. We should hear his name a lot with his high school team this winter.
