Peter Julius, A 6-foot-9 junior power forward, is transferring from Mt. Bethel Christian Academy to Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy for his last two years of high school. Sam Kayser of League Ready was the first to report the news. 

Julius is the No. 45 overall-ranked player, the No. 8 center, and the No. 2 overall-ranked player in the state of Georgia for the class of 2028, according to 247Sports.

Julius currently holds a dozen offers from schools such as Alabama, Baylor, Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Maryland, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Wake Forest. During the summer Live Period, he has been in contact with Auburn, Ole Miss, UCLA, and Vanderbilt periodically. 

Despite missing most of his freshman season with an injury, Julius averaged 18 points and 13 rebounds per game while shooting 65% from the field.

During the Grassroots season, Julius played with Georgia Stars on the 16U EYBL circuit, where he played in the Peach Jam last month and averaged 14.1 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game, and went on his way to win the Defensive Player of the Year for his age group.

With the move to Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, Julius now joins five-star small forward AJ Williams, three-star power forward Jamil Robinson, and junior guard Culen Browne. 

Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy finished the 2025-2026 season with a 19-12 record and reached the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class AAAA Region 1 Finals before their season came to an end against Southwest DeKalb back on February 28. 

Scouting Report on Peter Julius: Julius is a paint-dominant big with a blend of size, length, and athleticism. On the offensive end, he is a traditional back-to-the-basket finisher where he displays elite footwork and patience for his size. He is not your typical player who forces bad shots, but he can affect the game with his mobility by drawing fouls, securing rebounds, and finishing timely put-backs. On the defensive end, he shows impeccable timing when it comes to his shot blocking, as well as understanding angles where he can use his length to disrupt passing lanes. Overall, he has excellent touch and a great understanding of the game, and he can make an impact in a variety of ways.
