OTR Hoops – Breakout Camp Standouts – August 12, 2025

NORCROSS, Georgia – On the Radar Hoops hosted its annual Breakout Camp for underclass prospects last Sunday at Norcross High School. More than 100 prospects filled the gym to receive expert training and unparalleled exposure. Below is a list of standouts from the event.

By: Jonathan Hemingway

Baer Bailey – Greater Atlanta Christian – 2028

Bailey made a strong case for being the top player at the camp with a solid all-around performance. A 6-foot-8 wing, he has the length to impact the game in the paint while possessing the agility and skill to play facing the basket. He remained engaged throughout the camp, giving consistent effort on both ends. Bailey projects to be a top underclassman prospect in the Metro area this school season.

Bryson Jatta – Hillgrove HS – 2028

Jatta was eager to participate in the camp and made the most of his opportunity, consistently giving extra effort during gameplay. He impressed scouts and media members with his athleticism, completing several highlight dunks and soaring through traffic to finish with flair. Coach Moultrie and his staff will surely put Jatta’s talents to use this winter.

Austin Dennard – McDonough – 2028

Dennard gained momentum this summer with his performances for Formula Elite and maintained that energy during the camp. A 6-foot-6 lefty, he claims to play all positions in his social media bio, and he backed up that claim effectively during gameplay. He handled the ball, made plays off the dribble, and finished in traffic with efficiency. His combination of size and energy earns him a spot on this standout list.

Joshua Brown – Dacula HS – 2028

In a gym full of guards, it’s challenging for any ballhandler to stand out, but Brown rose above the crowd. He energized his team by pushing the tempo and prioritizing playmaking over primarily seeking his own shot. His quickness to dish and share the ball with teammates was notable. Coach Derrick Herbert will be excited to utilize Brown’s talents to power the Falcons this year.

Jeremiah Evans – Eagle’s Landing Academy – 2028

Evans’ name is gaining traction after his performance at the camp last weekend. The On the Radar media team had already identified the 6-foot-8 forward this summer for his performances with EYA Sports. He delivered rim-bending dunks in the paint, altered shots at the rim, and ran the court with agility. With massive upside, we project him as a switchable frontline forward who can contribute both in the paint and along the arc.

Culen Browne – Wilson Academy – 2028

Browne’s reputation as a top shooter in the city was well-established before the camp, but he showcased more than just shooting during 5-on-5 play. The lefty created off ball screens and demonstrated his ability to find the roll man. He also attacked gaps when defenders tried to jump his cross-court handle. These added dimensions suggest his game is rounding into form.

Jay Spencer – Langston Hughes – 2029

Spencer earned his spot by seizing the moment and performing when the opportunity arose. His midrange game stood out during gameplay, particularly his touch off the dribble when defenders closed out on him. This is just the beginning for Spencer; it will be exciting to see how he develops over the next few years.
