A selection of top performers from Thursday at the Elite 32.
By: Kyle Sandy
2026 5-10 G Will Myles – Sewer South OTR – Etowah
Thursday night ended with a bang as Will Myles put on his Superman cape in a sterling second half which saw him drop 27 of his game-high 29 points including the game-winning three to complete a furious comeback after trailing 34-19 to San Antonio FOA at halftime. Myles caught fire, the muscular undersized guard unconscious once he saw a shot drop. Will sank four threes, all difficult pull-ups. He created separation by using spin moves and step-backs before elevating to shoot over contests. Myles’ speed allowed him consistent penetration. When he got two feet in the paint Will was able to draw fouls (7-8 FT) and dish to open shooters in the corners with bullet passes. He racked up 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the 65-62 win, putting on a show in front of North Georgia, Edward Waters and Hampden-Sydney.
2026 6-1 G Jamail Garland – San Antonio FOA
Though his performance ended in vain, losing 65-62, Garland was as steady as it gets posting 20 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Jamail shined as a decision maker with experienced feel. He attacked downhill while dropping off pocket-passes for assists. Garland felt confident in his pull-up jumper, especially in transition when the defense was still setting up. Jamail drained three three-pointers and went 5-6 from the line. The do-everything high academic guard is poised for a big senior season. Missouri S&T offered in June.
2026 6-8 F Duor Duor – The Lab – South Atlanta
Duor had college coaches snapping their heads to look at one another as his displayed his full skillset in a 59-56 win over 16U Elevation Flyers, piling in 19 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 4 blocks. The graceful forward started fastbreaks after vacuuming rebounds. Duor pushed the ball for pull-up jumpers, hitting two inside the arc while adding a pair of catch-and-shoot threes. Duor used his length to finish around the rim, scoring exceptionally well with his left hand, netting a floater and an And-1 hook off a drive. Duor’s inside-out game continues to grow at a rapid pace. Utilized in pick-and-pop sets, Duor has become a consistent outside shooter and a creative coast-to-coast ball handler. After watching his performance, Southern Wesleyan offered. Duor is one of the most skilled bigs in Georgia with his impactful interior defense and unique guard skills.
2026 6-6 W Boston Ekart – Sunrise Basketball Academy
I liked the inside-out versatility of Boston in a 60-46 victory. He showed toughness in the paint by converting three And-1s – a baby hook, a transition layup and a drive. Ekart finishes with both hands. At 6-foot-6, Boston moves his feet well when defending on the perimeter. Ekart is a sneaky good playmaker off the dribble with keen vision. Boston finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks, sinking a three and going 4-5 from the charity stripe.
2026 6-4 G Isaiah Headley-Smith – S.M.A.S.H. PRO
Isaiah was explosive in the first game of the morning, pumping in 31 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a 67-65 OT win over Georgia Legacy Red OTR with Georgia College, Hampden-Sydney, West Georgia and Belmont Abbey watching. Headley-Smith took over in the second half. A big guard, Isaiah erupted through the defense for highlight slams and knocked down tough shots along the perimeter. His five threes sprung a comeback after trailing 33-22 at the half. Headley-Smith has major tools to work with. Expect the Roselle Catholic State Champ to get some phone calls soon.
2026 6-8 F Amare Lincoln – S.M.A.S.H. PRO
Amare proved to be a tough cover with his size, strength and ball skills. Lincoln tallied 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 5 blocks in an overtime win. He loved to attack the rim, using his sturdy frame to spin off defenders before finishing up close. Lincoln has good footwork for his size and while he isn’t the quickness, he is extremely adept at playing on-balance and finishing through contact.
2026 6-0 G Carter Turnbow – B4 Academy – Allatoona
The combo-guard poured in offense on Thursday with 22 points. Turnbow has the ability to hit tough shots after patiently creating off the dribble. He gains just enough separation to score in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Against GAA, Turnbow hit a pair of corner threes and had success crafting drives in traffic. He showcased an accurate floater to negate shot blockers.
