OTR Hoops: JPM’s Elite 32 Standouts – July 22, 2025

A list of standouts from the OTR Elite 32.
By: Jaron Pierre-Mathurine
Isaiah Headley-Smith 6’5 G 2026 World Smash
Headley-Smith has put up some convincing performances since entering the scene. Good frame. Attacks the rim hard, can knock down the 3 and takes pride defensively. Going to be a quality piece for his teams this season.
N’DIAYE Malcom 6’6 G 2025 Team Skywalker
He was a member of the high-energy, high-flying Team Skywalker group. Prob can be in the mix of the team’s best shooter. Possesses nice form, good length and does a good job getting to the rim as well.
Noah Sangare 6’6 G 2025 Team Skywalker
was another member of Team Skywalker and was the team’s most well-rounded player. Another wing with good length can create off the dribble, play above the rim and defend well.
Yatabare Youssouf 6’8 G 2025 Team Skywalker
We liked his size and handle at the guard spot. You can see the raw potential in him but he controlled the ball with a good pace, had good vision and showed true flashes of a big guard getting to the paint with ease and having an effective midrange shooting over smaller guards. His ceiling can be scary if he continues to put the work in.
Ibrahim Toure 6’8 F/G 2025 Team Skywalker
The motor of the group. You would see him running full speed all over the court on both sides of the ball making plays. Threw down some ferocious jams on the weekend and had some infectious energy that led to a lot of good play. Guarded multiple positions, good feet defensively and heavy effort on the weekend.
Devontre Sword 6’5 G 2026 Dallas Mustangs
Was as consistent as they came in the matchup. With already a nice frame coming in at 6-5, he played the 5 for his group showing he will step up for his team and not be afraid to battle in the post. This also showed his ability to guard multiple positions as he had to battle with bigs and still switch to cover his normal guard work without major foul trouble. He was an effective rebounder for his team grabbing everything off the glass and got to the free throw line with ease. Solid performance and brought the Texas grit with him.
Oliver Junker 6’9 F 2026 Elevation Flyers
Oliver was one of the puzzle pieces on a good Elevation Flyers team. Due to him having the size advantage in the matchups, we watched his coach put heavy emphasis on playing through the bigs and Oliver showed off a versatile skill set. Ran the floor hard, effective at a high rate around the rim and stepped out to knock down the 3 ball. His size and build can cause fits if not careful and his ability to move at his size set up mismatches.
DeAndre Harvey 6’3 G 2026 Tre Mann Elite 2026
Deandre was a dog and wasted no time showing it. He excels in transition and is a blur in the open court. No wasted dribbles or moves with him, if he commits to a basket he is getting one. Threw down some jams to show off the above-the-rim athleticism and kept it all under control. Had a solid dribble pull up game and did a good job finishing in traffic around size.
Landon Van Pelt 6’9 F/C 2026 Missouri Phenom
Van Pelt has a big body, old school feel big who was a matchup nightmare for teams. Sound feet and fundamentals, finished at a high rate around the rim and displayed some good vision as well. Effective back to the basket game and controlled the offense as they played through him for most of the competitions. Continued work on his frame could make him more elusive and his performances more dominant.
Mach Mach 6’5 G/F 2026 DA Lab
Mach Mach has seen our standout list multiple times, and he continues to stack his performances. His length continues to pop and be his calling card as he’s one of the most underrated defenders on the stage. His style seems effortless, but it just shows that the game can be easy for him at times. If he keeps his motor high, becomes more of a vocal court presence and trusts the process, he should see his stock continue to rise.
Brandon Mason Jr 2027 ABC Basketball Spotlight
BM was an ultra-smooth guard and stepped up even though he was one of the younger kids in the competition. Got to the rim with ease, never rushed in his handle and made some good reads. He has a mature presence to his game with reads and tempo but you can also see the youth in his play missing easy shots or just taking that extra dibble that is not needed. All in all, he is easily trending in the right direction and a name that will be known sooner than later.
Dylan Janov 2027 Hoop Different
Janov shot the ball at an extremely high clip including multiple and 1 3s in a tight loss. Another younger player playing up, his coach trusted him to control the offense early and play through him at times. Janov is a confident guard, knew his spots on the court well and made it hard to stay in front of.
Amare Lincoln 6’8 F 2026 World Smash
Lincoln has a big body, who ran the floor well, finished around the rim at a high rate and with his frame showed he can beat defenders off the dribble. His thick frame allows him to play through contact with ease, and he can play a 3-5 type of role. He was bouncing off players like a bowling ball and it allowed him to get easy trips at the line. Comfortable midrange game as well.
Dylan Harris 6’5 F/G 2026 Tre Mann Elite
Harris is one of the toughest defenders seen on the weekend and mixing with his size can truly have opposing teams clamped with ease. He slid his feet well, beat his man to the spot with ease, strong, football background with d1 offers at the TE position, he’s aggressive but controlled, vocal on the court calling out everything, and doesn’t mind doing the dirty work for this group.
Leon Powell 6’6 F 2027 SW Illinois Jets
Athletic wing, with good length and potential putting himself as my intriguing prospect on the event. He had a shooting form that shows he spends time on his jumper, some crowd moving dunks and emphatic blocks. He disrupted multiple shots due to his length and was a factor on both ends of the floor. Continue to look for him to turn heads as the season goes on.
