OTR Hoops: The Final Run Day 1 Standouts – July 26, 2025

On the Radar Hoops is back in the Sunshine State for the final event of the summer, presenting The Final Run. This is the final event for teams to display their talents in front of the On the Radar Hoops scouts as well as the media. Here are the players who stood out on Saturday:
By: Ross Van De Griek
2027 6-0 SG Urijah Newkirk (Team Speights 16U Red)
Newkirk is a skilled shooting guard who can play with the best of them, as well as showing a ton of confidence in the open floor, whether it’s getting to the rim or shooting over bigger defenders from behind the three-point line. In a win over Panhandle Prospects, Newkirk finished with a game-high 22 points and made five 3-pointers. His confidence as a playmaker continues to improve, as he was getting his teammates involved with strong, crisp passes to open teammates on the move.
2026 6-0 PG Isaiah Dunkley (Strive 4 Excellence)
Dunkley is the definition of a walking bucket, coming off a weekend in Atlanta where he knocked down a game-winning shot to lift his team during the Live Period. He is a high-energy guy on both ends of the floor who feeds off his teammates and can get to his spots in the open court. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions using his athleticism and is unafraid when it comes to challenging shots at the front of the rim.
2026 6-6 SG Jasen Francillon (Worldwide Soldiers Elite)
The 6-6 rising senior guard is a versatile scorer who can score in bunches where in two games on Saturday, as he averaged 32.5 points per game. He shot the ball at a high percentage, displaying a quick first step at getting to the rim as well as showing a ton of confidence in shooting from the three-point line. On the defensive end, he displayed a ton of aggressiveness at altering shots around the rim and can block shots with ease. Francillon picked up offers from West Georgia and Savannah State during the Live Period earlier this month.
2029 6-1 CG Levi Hyatt (Austin Rivers SE Elite)
Hyatt is a slender combo guard who plays bigger than his size indicates. He was smooth when it came to attacking off the bounce as well as using his quickness to be an efficient shooter off the catch. Hyatt impacts the game with his quickness on the defensive end as well, where he was making a lot of havoc in the passing lanes. A ton of upside for Hyatt going into his freshman season.
2027 6-4 CG Elijah Ahlers (Team Speights Blue 16U)
Ahlers boasts a good size and frame to his game, where he was unafraid when it came to playing through physicality on Saturday. Offensively, he was scoring on all three levels while absorbing contact as well as making defenders pay with his ability to score off the catch. At the rim, Ahlers made his presence felt when it came to blocking shots as well as being a pest, limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities.
2027 5-11 PG Christian Fuller (Team Speights 16U Red)
Fuller was one of the best point guards on Saturday at the Final Run, where he demonstrated his rare combination of being a score-first guard, as he was lighting it up from behind the arc. His ability to control the game at his own pace spoke volumes, as well as consistently setting the tone for his teammates, displaying his high-level playmaking skillset. Fuller is on a path where he can climb the rankings as a key player to watch in the upcoming junior class.
2029 6-4 SF Hudson Hooten (Panhandle Prospects)
Hooten was playing up on Saturday, where his game continues to evolve as a two-way wing. Offensively, he made good strides and displayed a ton of confidence when it came to shooting from behind the arc. He is a threat in pick-and-roll situations as well, where he was often found knocking down tough, contested shots above the rim. Defensively, he was very versatile when it came to guarding positions 1 through 4, altering shots with his length around the rim and playing with contagious high energy that fed off his teammates. Expect Hooten to get big minutes at the varsity level as just an incoming freshman, as his upside continues to climb.
