OTR Hoops: The Final Run Day 2 Standouts – July 27, 2025

On the Radar Hoops is back in the Sunshine State for the final event of the summer, presenting The Final Run. This is the final event for teams to display their talents in front of the On the Radar Hoops scouts as well as the media. Here are the players who stood out on Sunday:

By: Ross Van De Griek

2025 6-4 SG Jalen Lewis (NineStrong Basketball)

On the offensive end, Lewis thrived when it came to scoring off the catch, whether it was in the mid-range or in the interior, feeling comfortable scoring off taller defenders. He was a reliable two-way rebounder, making a ton of havoc on the glass at both ends of the floor, where he developed strong passes to open teammates in transition. On the defensive end, he made a strong presence felt as a rim protector, where he would limit the opposition to one-and-done possessions.

2027 6-4 SG Zavier Starks (Panhandle Prospects)

Starks provided a good showcase where he was showing poise, leadership, and effectiveness on both ends of the floor, where he didn’t get rattled on the offensive end when opposing teams were forcing double teams or applying pressure when handling the basketball in the backcourt. His consistent playmaking skills from the guard position continue to speak high volumes, as well as his ability to be a factor on the glass on the defensive end. His versatility will continue to rise as he gets ready for the next two years playing at the high school level.

2027 6-1 PG Brennen Hill (Panhandle Prospects)

Hill continues to have an impressive summer, whether it’s his quickness when the basketball is in his hands or his movement without the basketball. His smooth shooting touch continued to be effective on Sunday, where he finished with a game-high 34 points in a win over Elite 8 Select. His confidence to be a bonafide three-level scorer continues to improve as he is learning how to initiate the offense as well as getting his teammates involved.

2027 6-5 CG Shannon McArthur (Team Speights 16U Red)

McArthur is a long and slender guard who gets to his spots in the open court, making him a tough matchup for opponents, where he has the confidence to score inside as well as outside on the offensive end. On the defensive end, his length and versatility allow him to play whether it’s above the rim or out on the perimeter, where he continues to grow his confidence in guarding all five positions. Look for McArthur to add some muscle to his frame, and he should have a major impact as he heads into his junior season.

2026 6-4 SG Ja’Kylen Crossley (Mikel Brown Jr. Elite)

Crossley is a highly versatile prospect who has a unique skillset, whether it’s length, athleticism, or poise. On the offensive end, he can score from all three levels, where he can fit into any system, whether it’s a half-court offense or a transition offense. Defensively, Crossley has the intangibles where he can guard positions 1 through 4 with his strength, and he didn’t get rattled by opposing teams being physical on him. He could be a mid-major D-1 prospect by the time his senior season ends, where he currently holds an offer from Rollins College.
