Atlanta, Ga– Che Evans of Dulaney High School, which is located right outside of Baltimore in Lutherville Timonium, Maryland, is currently one of the top 2020 prospects in the country. The Baltimore native ran with Nike EYBL’s Baltimore based program in Team Melo this past summer with the 16U squad. After attending the famous annual Pangos AA Camp and the EYBL’s Nike Elite 100 a week later, Evans decided to take some time off after suffering a minor injury to his shin.

“A minor fractured shin” Che told me he suffered during an offseason workout. After being out for about a month, Evans did participate in one game at the Las Vegas Fab 48 before sitting back out and where he played pretty good after going 3-4 from three point range and ending with 15 total points. He is a 6’6 wing/guard who shows similarities to a young Jayson Tatum. He is lengthy with long arms that can play the two or three position. The rising junior can make his presence known offensively at times. He has a decent mid range game, he is strong with the ball, and has improved to be an off ball scorer as well. One weakness Che is trying to improve on is his on ball defense so he can be that great two-way player, but let us remember he is only a rising junior and has been working constantly in the gym.

Evans already holds several offers from schools like Florida, Texas Tech, Boise State, Seton Hall, Boston College, TCU, and more. Already taking unofficial visits to UCLA and TCU, he is expected to visit Georgia Tech this weekend and plans on taking visits to Boise State, Texas Tech, Seton Hall, and Boston College before September. Che Evans is currently ranked 55 according to Rivals.
