SHARIFE COOPER

McEachern High School
Class of 2020

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: No.16] [Rivals 150: No.16] [247 Sports: No.18]

It seems like yesterday the Georgia basketball scene was introduced to a fearless wide-eyed freshman phenom. Fast forward to today and Sharife Cooper is the No.1 rated point guard in the peach state and arguably the nation’s top floor general prospect. Last season, he torched national competition and led McEachern to a Georgia High School Association Class AAAAAAA State Championship and we fully expect the Indians to be in the mix again this year. The five-star senior flaunts high major offers from schools like Auburn, Georgia Tech, Florida, and Kentucky to name a few. But could a commitment be on the horizon? Keep an eye out on this as Cooper is scheduled to make his third official trip to Auburn on October 11th, 2019.

College Prediction: Auburn

WALKER KESSLER

Woodward Academy
Class of 2020

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: No.13] [Rivals 150: No.20] [247 Sports: No.15]

Kessler fits the description of the new aged big-man with his multifaceted ball skills and ability to stretch the floor. In 2018-19 he averaged 21 points, twelve rebounds, and six blocks per game en route to leading the War Eagles to a Georgia High School Association Class AAAA Final Four appearance. The 6-foot-11 senior is one of the most sought after post players in the country and is being courted heavily by Auburn, California, Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan, and North Carolina. Already officially seeing Auburn, Duke, and Michigan, Kessler committed to North Carolina after his official visit.

Committed: North Carolina

DEVION SMITH

Grayson High School
Class of 2020

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: No.64] [Rivals 150: No.52] [247 Sports: No.52]

Smith broke out during his junior campaign and hasn’t looked back since. The 6-foot dynamo packs a combination of athleticism and tenacity that is hard to match. His improved ability to run a team paired with a great supporting cast has Grayson widely viewed as a legit title contender in Class AAAAAAA, Georgia’s highest classification. Smith holds over twenty offers, but many believe this recruitment is a three horse race between Louisville, NC State, and Miami.

College Prediction: Louisville

DWON ODOM

Saint Francis
Class of 2020

RANKINGS as of 9/18/2019

[ESPN 100: No.68] [Rivals 150: No.49] [247 Sports: No.50]

Odom is a no nonsense player who just gets the job done. He puts his hardhat on with one goal in mind, winning. With the pressure of recruitment behind him, he played with a free mind this offseason and significantly boosted his stock nationally. Look for the Xavier bound guard to carry that mindset into the school ball season and assist St. Francis in defending its GHSA Class A-Private state title.

Signed: Xavier
