The Florida Invitational added a few new prospects to my radar. This list ranges from freshmen with next level tools and late blooming big men. These eight players have the size and production that starts college basketball interests.

Daniel Matumbo | Exclusive Hoops | 2030

Daniel Matumbo is a hyper athletic 6’1 guard. He plays with a high motor and it jumps out on defense. Thanks to his size and athleticism he’s a matchup nightmare for many 2030 ball handlers. He finishes plays above the rim. He’s a good slasher in the halfcourt who gets to the rim really well out of the corner. Gets to the rim with long quick strides.

Mo Turner | PSB | 2027

Mo Turner is the 6’7 Swiss Army knife that makes the game easier for everyone. He’s a good athlete who does the little things on both ends of the court. He hustles, rebounds, finishes plays in the paint, and can hit outside shots. He’s a versatile defender who can act as a secondary distributor on offense.

Exauce Nmaba | SE Elite Gold | 2027

Exauce Nmaba is a high energy 6’9 big with a college ready frame. He’s your quintessential run and jump big that can finish lobs, protect the rim and rebounds. He’s physical in the paint.

Jamal Scott | SE Elite Gold | 2027

Jamal Scott is an athletic 6’4 combo guard with next level bounce. He’s a lob threat when he’s off the ball and a capable shooter. On the ball he has the burst to get to the rim and a consistent midrange jumper.

Jeremiah Williams | Sunshine Elite | 2027

Jeremiah Williams is a 6’7 power forward with a really good footwork. He has big hands and a good catch radius. He has a consistent right hand hook and developing turnaround jumper. Williams has only played competitive basketball for three years. He looks like someone with a high ceiling after o producing doubles doubles with limited game experience.

Noah Meyer | Beyond Limits | 2028

At 6’8 Noah Meyer is one of the most mobile  bigs I’ve seen in Florida’s 2028 class. He’s a very confident three point shooter with a quick release. He’s rebounds out of his area and has the ball skills to start the break. Meyer prices the game effectively and quickly for someone wrapping up their freshman season.

Kasyn Touchette | Tap Hoops | 2028

If your team values paint touches and scoring at the rim Kasyn Touchette is your guy. He’s a 6’4 guard who can get to the rim at will and while having a wiry frame he’s strong enough to bump defenders off their spot. He’s more left side dominant than right and has a crafty finishing package that allows him to score through contact. Touchette is a solid on ball defender with solid length.

Nicholas Lindsey | Future Stars | 2029

Nicholas Lindsey may be the next hidden gem in the Pompano Beach area. He’s a spring loaded 6’4 guard with a ton of length. Lindsey is a slasher who has the athletic pop to finish above traffic in the paint. He’s a freshman with positional size and next level tools. Lindsey scored 24 points against nationally ranked Calvary Christian during the high school basketball season.
