EMERSON, Georgia — Most eyes stay on the rising seniors at live period events. But college coaches also get a chance to start building their future boards. Here is Part 2 of our 2028 standouts from the Power 24.

Daviss Jones – PSB Elite Tampa

Jones often gets listed with the bigs after these events. He plays the frontline, controls the glass, and patrols the paint for his team. He does it well. At the same time, we see a higher ceiling for him when he faces the basket more. He showed slick moves to the rim and finished through contact. His jumper looks smooth too. As he adds strength and later gets more explosive, college coaches will take notice.

Cameron Blackman – HWPO

Blackman has been steady all year. At nearly every OTR event, evaluators on the sidelines have praised him. His work at the Power 24 was the same. He put up consistent numbers all weekend. OTR evaluator Ross Van De Griek spoke highly of his offensive feel and his pesky defense. Of all the prospects on the OTR Circuit this year, Blackman may have raised his profile the most.

Karson Bagnal – Pursuing Greatness

Pursuing Greatness played in one of our Hibbett Sports featured games last weekend. We noticed Bagnal, a 6-foot-3 guard from Greenville, North Carolina. He showed good shooting range and shot with confidence. Bagnal plays with a chip on his shoulder, but he does it with a smile that shows he’s having fun. In today’s game where spacing matters, his shooting will keep him valuable.

Mike Lynch – Atlanta Standard

Atlanta Standard’s guards got most of the headlines this weekend. Lynch quietly did his job inside. The 6-foot-8 forward has a strong feel for the game. He tracks rebounds well on both ends. His body control in traffic and soft touch off the glass make him a reliable frontcourt player. Lynch should not be seen only as a big body. We have seen his passing and face-up game in past looks. All of that makes him one of the most well-rounded 2028s on the Circuit.

Jamai McClure – Team Person

McClure is gaining traction with OTR scouts this summer. We have noted his shooting in past reports. This weekend his size and length stood out even more. He is a backcourt player listed at 6-foot-5 or taller now. @RoseySportsUSA highlighted him Sunday after he hit five threes in a game. There is still room for him to grow. He has tools that are not fully polished yet.

Lucas Fainter – Georgia Legacy 16u

Fainter gets mentioned often on this site, and he has earned it. He is a consistent, all-around player who can run the show, score, or anchor the defense. He had another solid weekend with Georgia Legacy. It is rare to find a player who handles ball screens so well as either the ball handler or the screener. The 6-foot-4 guard has set himself up for a strong year at Cherokee High School this winter.

Jaden Johnson – Sewer South

Johnson caught our eye with his gritty play on Sunday afternoon. He is not the biggest player, but he is always around the ball — grabbing rebounds, chasing loose ones, or pushing the break. He fits perfectly next to Kamari Kilgore in the backcourt. He defends, brings energy, and hits open shots. Players like Johnson who make the right play instead of chasing stats help their teams win.
