Since forming in 2021, Triangle Elite Offense has established itself as one of the top independent programs in Georgia. Director Cedric Maxwell, along with Antwoine Freeman, Lester Allen, and Dee Felix, started the program after COVID shut down several Gwinnett County AAU options, creating an opportunity to get the 2027 group back playing competitive basketball.

Program at a Glance

Name: Triangle Elite Offense
Home Base: Gwinnett County, Georgia (Grayson area)
Director/Co-Founders: Cedric Maxwell, Antwoine Freeman, Lester Allen, Dee Felix
Motto: La Familia

Free Education and Family Culture

The program came together in the aftermath of pandemic disruptions in local AAU. Maxwell and his co-founders saw kids losing structure and competition, so they stepped in. Maxwell tells On the Radar Hoops the goal has remained the same since day one: "FREE EDUCATION. When we started, we wanted 1-10 to all get the opportunity to play at the next level."

They build around a tight family atmosphere. The motto "La Familia" reflects that—emphasizing bonds, mutual support, and a culture where the group functions like a real family. It's designed for sustained development, keeping everyone invested in the collective success.

On-Court Track Record

Since the 8th grade level, Triangle Elite Offense has compiled a 126-13 record while competing in some of the best tournaments throughout the Southeast. That mark shows their ability to hold their own as an independent team against strong competition. The consistent performance over the past five years has set the foundation for bigger exposure.

With the 2027 class now juniors, the program is positioned for key college recruiting windows.

Excited for 2026

Maxwell is looking ahead to the spring opportunities: "I’m excited about the opportunities we have in front of us." The grind has been about becoming the best independent team in the state, and the track record supports that push. Everything has built toward live period and showcase events that will help deliver college basketball chances for the full 1-10 roster.

Competing on the OTR Circuit has played a big role in their growth. Maxwell has respect for Shun Williams and Tai Young, who backed the program from the beginning. "Over the years just seeing the opportunities their platform has given independent teams to showcase their talent is second to none." Moving from Puma to OTR was an easy decision given that history of support and high-level games.
