The On the Radar Hoops Breakout Camp featured several more players who stood out over the course of the day. This is a final look at names who left an impression in Buford.

Charles Wilson III | Pleasant Grove High School | 6'3" | 2029

Wilson was impactful as a defender and play finisher in transition. He scooped defensive rebounds and turned them into fast-break opportunities. He showed off his athleticism with a couple of dunks and disrupted opponents with his defense.

Dalemontae McCollum | Redan | 6'4" | 2029

McCollum is a good-looking athlete who projects as a two-way competitor. He elevated in the lane to punch dunks and used his size to defend and rebound. He is a potential sleeper to emerge out of this camp.

AJ Bowman | Wheeler | 6'4" | 2029

Bowman is a wing with great size for his position. We took note of his willingness to defend in this camp setting. He rotated to the weak side when the ball was reversed away from him. We expect to see more of his offensive skills in future viewings.

Chase Young | Eagles Landing High School | 6'3" | 2029

Young is a wing with a slick handle. He dished assists with flair as he delivered on-target behind-the-back passes to teammates. Young also proved he does not need the ball in his hands to impact the game. He plays with energy. He was involved as a defender and rebounder, and he ran the floor in transition.

King Araujo | Holy Innocents' | 6'3" | 2029

Araujo has what some would call an “old-school” midrange game. He sized up defenders with footwork and then worked them for buckets using angles and momentum. He has many tools that will allow him to be impactful this season for the Bears.

Aidan Wages | Loganville High School | 5'10" | 2029

We especially take note of players who work to play the right way at exposure camps. Wages did exactly that as he battled in the lane for rebounds and loose balls. He proved that a player can get recognition even when he does not have the ball in his hands exclusively.

Josh Kassi | Loganville High School | 6'0" | 2029

Kassi was one of the better play creators that we watched at the camp. He probed the defense with slick in-and-out dribbles. When he found a crease in the defense, he took it and finished shots in traffic. He has a promising future with the Red Devils.

Denney Stomer | Best Academy | 5'8" | 2029

Stomer was one of the smaller players at the camp, but he was maybe the most active. His game is highlighted by his high-energy attitude and ability to appear in more than one place at a time. We have him on our watch list for up-and-coming sophomores in the Metro Area.

Sam Cockrell | Lassiter High School | 6'3" | 2029

Cockrell starred for the Atlanta Standard, which was one of the best 15U teams on the OTR Circuit this year. He earned a reputation as a shot maker and all-around hard-nosed player. He showed much of the same at the Breakout Camp. He was active away from the ball as a help defender. And he showed a quick pull-up jumper off his right hand. One of Cockrell’s biggest attributes is his ability to impact without needing a lot of volume with the ball in his hands.

Keion Ward | Tri-Cities | 6'2" | 2030

Ward is a left-handed backcourt player who showed promise during the camp session. He has an array of skills on both ends of the floor. He has not quite reached his potential, which is expected given he is just entering high school this year. With development and refinement, he could flourish with the Bulldogs in the future.

Chuks Ukperegbu | 6'3" | 2029

We first saw Ukperegbu with Twelve-Time 15U on the OTR Circuit this season. The 6-foot-3 forward brought muscle and agility to the middle third of the floor as a screener and defender. At the Breakout Camp he showed more of the same and more. He proved he can handle the ball in the open court and hit the turnaround jumper in traffic. He is also proving he can step out and hit the perimeter jumper, which is going to unlock more parts of his game.
