Day 2 of Carolina Mania raised the level even higher, as prospects built on strong starts and others emerged with breakout performances. The competition tightened up, but so did the execution—guards controlled tempo and made tough reads, wings showed their versatility on both ends, and forwards battled inside while finishing through contact. Shot-making was on full display, with several players knocking down big shots in key moments. More than anything, Day 2 highlighted toughness, consistency, and the ability to step up when games mattered most.

Christian Hargett - 2029 - Top Shot UA Grind
Christian Hargett is a long-framed scorer with smooth three-level scoring ability and a natural feel for putting the ball in the basket in a variety of ways. He’s very comfortable playing off two feet, which helps him stay balanced and controlled in traffic, especially when finishing through contact or operating in tight spaces around the lane. One of his go-to weapons is a clean-looking fallaway jumper in the midrange, which he uses effectively to create separation and score over defenders even when heavily contested. Hargett has the ability to get hot quickly and score in bunches, and he shows a strong understanding of how to get to his spots efficiently without forcing the action. He also brings underrated playmaking ability, displaying solid vision as a passer when defenses collapse and consistently making the right reads with the ball in his hands, adding value beyond just his scoring impact.

Jaden Bell - Warriors Life Elite - 2028
Jaden Bell has been a monster this weekend, consistently producing at a high level and making his presence felt as a dominant interior force. He’s been extremely effective scoring in the lane, relying on polished post moves, patience, and touch around the rim to finish through contact and carve out quality looks possession after possession. Bell has also shown a smooth midrange jumper that he gets to comfortably, especially coming off pin-down actions where he’s able to square up quickly and knock down shots in rhythm. On top of his scoring, he’s absolutely punished opponents on the offensive glass, using effort, timing, and physicality to extend possessions and create extra opportunities for his team. He’s carried that same impact into his latest outing for Warriors Life Elite, getting off to a quick start in their final game of the weekend as they look to stay unbeaten, once again showing why he’s been one of the most productive and impactful bigs in the event.

Alexzander Wolf - Top Shots UAA - 2028
Alexzander Wolf is a physical presence with a strong, solid build who consistently impacts the game through toughness, effort, and smart positional play. He sets great, firm screens that create real advantages for his team, freeing up guards and generating clean looks within the offense. Wolf also shows good feel as a screener, often slipping at the right time to the rim and finding open windows around the basket where he can finish efficiently in traffic or convert easy dump-offs. His ability to step out and knock down the three adds another layer to his game, making him a versatile frontcourt option who can stretch defenses and keep them honest. On top of his offensive value, he rebounds with a high-level, grown-man mentality—attacking the glass with physicality, timing, and consistent effort, giving his team extra possessions and setting a tone on both ends of the floor.

Cayden Twitty - Twelve Time Elite - 2029
Twitty is a high-level catch-and-shoot threat with a true “burner” from deep, capable of changing the complexion of a game the moment he gets into rhythm. He is extremely effective in transition, consistently spacing the floor and running to open windows where he can rise up and knock down shots in stride. Twitty is automatic when he has space off the catch, showing clean mechanics, quick elevation, and deep range that forces defenses to extend and stay attached at all times. What makes him even more dangerous is his versatility as a perimeter scorer—when defenders close out hard, he has the ability to put the ball on the deck, attack downhill, and create advantages off the bounce. That combination of elite shooting gravity and straight-line aggression makes him a constant offensive threat who can score without needing high-volume touches.

Chase Hoover - Upward Stars Upstate - 2027
Hoover had quite the morning from deep, putting on a shooting display that immediately set the tone as he knocked down 8 threes and provided steady production throughout the game. He got hot early, drilling five triples in the opening stretch alone, showing his ability to completely swing momentum when he finds rhythm from beyond the arc. Hoover is an elite catch-and-shoot threat who consistently punishes defenses that give him even a sliver of space, using quick preparation, clean mechanics, and deep range to stretch the floor and force constant defensive adjustments. Beyond his perimeter shooting, he also contributed on the glass on both ends, showing activity and willingness to rebound outside his position. Inside the lane, he’s comfortable playing off two feet, using balance and control to finish efficiently through contact when he attacks. His combination of shooting gravity and reliable interior finishing gives him real value as a floor spacer who can open up an offense almost immediately.
