PLAYERS FEATURED
Carolina Mania brought plenty of talent to Spartanburg, South Carolina for day one, with prospects from multiple circuits and regions making strong early statements. From productive guards controlling the pace to versatile wings and bigs making their presence felt on both ends, the event offered no shortage of standouts. Here is a look at some of the players who impressed most on day one and helped set the tone for the weekend.

Cameron Cannon - Atlanta AllStars UA Rise - 2027
Cameron Cannon played a major role in Atlanta AllStars winning one game by 55 and another by 79, including a 23-point performance in game two. Dynamic guard who played with confidence and real control, pushed the pace when it was there, created separation well, and kept constant pressure on the defense with his scoring ability. Showed the ability to knock down shots, get to his spots, and make good decisions with the ball, while bringing the kind of energy and production that helped set the tone all day.

Sebi Boyogueno - Top Shot UAA - 2026
Sebi Boyogueno is an unsigned senior who should be firmly on the radar of Division I and Division II programs. After leading Riverside High School to a 25-3 record, a state championship final appearance, and averaging 28.8 points per game, he continues to prove he is a high-level scorer capable of carrying a major load. Strong, athletic wing who makes the game look easy with the way he gets downhill, creates space, and gets to his spots with purpose. Finishes through contact, scores with confidence at multiple levels, and plays with the kind of strength, control, and production that should keep college coaches paying close attention. Every time he rose up to dunk, it felt like he was trying to rip the rim off in the best way possible. Got the crowd going a lot, along with his teammates.

Micah Gunter - Team United EYBL - 2028
Micah Gunter enters the Nike EYBL circuit with real momentum after a standout year at Greensboro Day including a state championship, and earning MaxPreps Third Team Sophomore All-American recognition for the 2025-26 season. That confidence carried right into Saturday, where he once again looked like a guard capable of producing 20-plus with ease. Vocal, poised, and fully in command, Gunter facilitated naturally, controlled tempo, turned defense into offense, and showed the scoring craft, leadership, and overall feel that make him such a reliable floor general. He plays with the kind of presence and composure that gives Team United a true tone-setter in the backcourt.

Jayden Gunby - Charlotte Aces OTR - 2027
Jayden Gunby put together an impressive showing against Team United EYBL 2028 and followed it up with a dominant performance against Rare 1s OTR. Explosive big who consistently imposed his will with his motor, physicality, and presence around the rim. Controlled the glass on both ends, finished through contact, and brought the kind of toughness and energy that changed possessions. Gunby’s ability to run the floor, play through his frame, and produce as an interior force made him one of the more impactful bigs on the day.

William Street - Pasadena Stars - 2027
William Street put together a highly impressive showing and emerged as one of the more impactful performers on the floor. What stood out most was his ability to create space and stay effective on both ends of the floor. He scored with confidence, operated well within the flow of the offense, and consistently made smart plays without forcing the action. Street’s combination of size, feel, and two-way impact allowed him to affect the game in a variety of ways and made for a strong performance overall.

Heath Johnson - PSB Elite Barnes - 2027
Heath Johnson looks every bit like a scholarship-level player with the size, tools, and overall presence he brings to the floor. He impacted the game in a variety of ways, especially with his activity around the rim and on the glass, where he consistently made plays that created extra possessions and easy offense. Johnson moved well for his size, finished effectively in traffic, and showed the kind of physical tools that naturally stand out. With his blend of size, productivity, and long-term upside, he looks like a prospect that southeast college programs should be keeping a close eye on.

Omari Alleyne - PNP - 2030
Playing one age group up and hooping is already noticeable, but doing it two age groups up makes Omari Alleyne someone to seriously monitor. He looked comfortable, confident, and completely unfazed against older competition, which says a lot at this stage. The physical tools are obvious, but what stood out even more was the poise, feel, and way he impacted the game without trying to do too much. His calmness to shoot over his defenders really stands out. For a 2030 prospect to already be this productive and composed while playing up two age groups says a lot about his long-term trajectory.
