THE VILLAGES, Fla. — The inaugural Florida Invitational is the latest stop in the Sunshine State for the On the Radar Hoops season. 45 teams are on display this weekend at The Villages Charter High School across three age groups, ranging from 15U to 17U. Here is who stood out on Sunday:

Chamari Robinson - Team Wright NXTPRO - 2029
Robinson knocked down three 3-pointers on his way to finishing with a game-high 16 points in a win over Florida Blaze 2028. He also knocked down timely shots in the mid-range off the catch and bounce. He also moved well without the basketball in his hands, playmaking for his teammates, and did a great job when pestering the passing lanes. The two-way guard shows a high ceiling in the freshman class and continues to develop playing against players who are a year older than him.

Kason Dauvergne - Tap Hoops - 2029
The 6-foot-3 combo guard delivered a good overall performance while controlling the offense from start to finish. He got into the lane, finished around the rim with a smooth touch, and remained balanced with his footwork. He also added aggressiveness, where he was unafraid when it came to absorbing contact and got to the free-throw line on several occasions in the afternoon game. On defense, he stayed active in the passing lanes, guarded multiple positions, and altered shots around the rim, where he was using his length to his advantage. Overall, his two-way playmaking could open some eyes for an early start in his recruitment as he continues to grow his all-around game.

Adriano Piggott - OBG Elite Varsity - 2026
The 6-foot-6 combo forward was active around the rim in a guard-heavy lineup where he didn’t need the basketball in his hands often to make an immediate impact on the offensive end. On defense, he stayed active with his length and footwork when it came to challenging shots at the rim, playing in the passing lanes, as well as battling himself on the glass to win the 50-50 possessions. He added steady scoring and rebounding in his second game of the day on his way to finishing with a double-double.

Isaiah Jenkins - Team Wright NXTPRO - 2026
The 6-foot-6 power forward is a long and athletic forward who was a lob threat in the wire-to-wire win over OTG. In transition offense, Jenkins was running the floor exceptionally well, where his versatility spoke high volumes, allowing him to play multiple positions. On the defensive end, Jenkins used his length and strength in the open court where he was guarding the passing gaps, getting deflections, and turning defense into offense. With the unsigned senior still looking for a college to play for next season, I fully expect Jenkins to get a ton of interest as a two-way wing during next month’s Live Period.

Calvin Jenkins - Pro Holmes Academy Mercer - 2027
The 6-foot-3 junior combo guard is a well-rounded prospect who can impact the game in a variety of ways, whether it’s his ability to finish at the front of the rim or knocking down shots from the perimeter on the offensive end. He also maintained steady pressure on the defensive end, as well as securing possessions and limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities. He also added timely steals and deflections for his team in a tough loss during the afternoon game to OBG Elite.

Joey Donohue - Pro Holmes Academy Mercer - 2027
The 6-foot-4 junior shooting guard was in full-attack mode on the offensive end despite a tough loss to OBG Elite, where he finished with a game-high 30 points on seven made 3-pointers. Donohue can make an impact as the primary ball-handler or when he gets to his spots playing off the ball on the offensive end. He also made an impact beyond his scoring, where he was able to defend at a high level and snatch down timely rebounds. Donohue’s blend of scoring from the perimeter at a high level, finishing possessions by corralling defensive rebounds, and running the floor effectively in transition has set the tone for a big summer ahead for the 6-foot-4 junior out of Lakeland.

Cory McPherson - Sunshine Elite - 2027
The 5-foot-11 point guard is a lead guard who plays with a ton of confidence on the offensive end, where he can score on all three levels, finish above the rim, and knock down timely shots off the catch on the perimeter. In addition to his scoring, McPherson blended in his mix of playmaking, where he made strong passes to his teammates as well as getting timely steals and deflections on the defensive end. McPherson was one of the top consistent scorers throughout the weekend and kept pressure on the defenses at the Florida Invitational. Expect the 5-foot-11 point guard to make a lot of noise on the recruitment trail as we are just a few weeks away from the first Live Period of the season.
