Christian Collins, A five-star small forward out of St. John Bosco High School in Playa Del Ray, California, is expected to announce his college commitment on Tuesday, according to Joe Tipton of On3 and Rivals.

The 6-foot-8 senior small forward is expected to decide between Kentucky, Louisville, and USC on Tuesday, March 17 th, at 12:00 p.m. on 247Sports’ YouTube channel. The Trojans have emerged as the betting favorite to land the five-star small forward from Southern California. Collins took official visits to Kentucky and USC, but did not make an official visit with Louisville.

Collins is a nationally ranked prospect, where he is currently ranked at No. 6-overall ranked player in the nation, the No. 2-overall ranked small forward, and the top-ranked player in the state of California for the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.

Collins is considered a long-armed prospect with a wingspan that reaches over 7 feet and is very mobile when it comes to covering the court. He is at his best when he is asserting himself as a rebounder or a strong finisher around the rim, where he averaged 8.3 rebounds per game last summer while playing for Team WhyNot on the Nike EYBL circuit. He is also more of a secondary scorer, where he only averaged 12.5 points per game on 42% shooting from the field last summer during the EYBL season. His ability to shoot from the perimeter needs a little more consistency, as he shot just 21% from behind the arc. He has strong potential when it comes to attacking downhill, where he can finish around the rim as well as expand his offensive game out to the free-throw line off the catch and bounce.

This season for St. John Bosco, Collins is averaging 26.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He also added seven double-doubles for the Braves this season, where he helped lead them to a 24-10 record and reached the CIF Division I semifinals before eventually losing to state champion Damien.
