Jarvis Hayes Jr, the No. 22 overall-ranked player in the Class of 2027, according to 247Sports, cut his list of schools down to four on Wednesday. The son of Georgia assistant coach Jarvis Hayes will choose between Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt.

His dad (Jarvis Sr.) was taken with the 10th overall pick in the 2003 National Basketball Association (NBA) Draft by the Washington Wizards after playing at Western Carolina from 1999 to 2001 before finishing his collegiate career at the University of Georgia (2001-2003)

The 6-foot-5 rising senior shooting guard has taken unofficial visits to Georgia and Vanderbilt as well as scheduled a visit with Florida State next month.

Before narrowing his school list, Hayes was receiving offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Miami, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Wake Forest, among several others.

Hayes played for Atlanta Xpress on the Under Armour Association (UAA) Circuit, where he averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

During his junior season at Woodward Academy, Hayes averaged 17.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while shooting 49% from inside the arc, 40% from behind the arc, and 89% from the free-throw line.

During his sophomore season, Hayes averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
