OTR Hoops News: Four-Star Power Forward Schedules Two Visits
Four-star Power Forward Cody Peck schedules two official visits with Miami and Creighton.
Four-star senior power forward Cody Peck has scheduled two official visits with Miami (Jan. 28-30) and Creighton (Feb. 7-9). Peck has already made official visits to Dayton and Tennessee.
Peck attends Davidson Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is rated as the No. 81-ranked player in the Class of 2026, as well as the No. 8-ranked power forward, and the No. 2-ranked player in the state of North Carolina, according to numerous recruiting services. Peck played for Garner Road Basketball Club on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit last summer.
Peck returned to his home state of North Carolina for his senior season after playing his junior season at IMG Academy, where he helped lead the Ascenders to a 20-8 record, picking up marquee wins over Oak Hill Academy, Dynamic Prep, and Montverde Academy. Peck played his freshman season at Providence Day School and his sophomore season at Carmel Christian School in Matthews, North Carolina.
Peck, listed at 6-foot-10, is a long-armed big man with incredible footwork, who can play inside as well as showing a consistent mid-range jump shot on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he has the intangibles of protecting the rim and displaying terrific timing around the basket, where he can block or alter shots at the front of the rim. He can also run the floor exceptionally well for his size in transition, where he knows how to get to his spots.
Cody has basketball in his bloodlines as he is the son of Michael Peck, who played collegiate basketball at Marshall University from 1991 to 1995.
