The on the Radar nationals was the last big AAU tournament in the state of Florida. That means we’ve got one last scouting event until fall league begins. Below are 10 players that stood out last weekend.

Marcus Jenkins | 352 GO | 2030
Jenkins brings a 6’3 body and above the rim athleticism into his freshman year of high school. Between his size, vertical pop, and motor he contributes on both sides of the ball without an elite. Yet his physical tools will make him someone worth keeping an eye on.

Mykel Benson | Jayhawks | 2031
Benson is a 6’4 WF with a growing skill set. Benson can finish above the room rebound well in traffic and gives you defensive versatility. What’s starting to separate him is his ability to get downhill and finish in the paint. At this stage, he is a mismatch problem who came to attack defenses out of dribble hand offs and as a slasher from the wing.

Ja’Kobe Weekes | Jayhawks | 2031
Weekes is a scoring spark plug. It almost doesn’t matter where he’s at in a half court setting. He can hit threes off the catch and off movement. He’s a solid ball handler who can push the pace of play in transition. Weekes is also able to get down hill and finish in traffic. One of the top scorers in a competitive JR EYBL team.

Juan Rosales | Florida All Stars | 2029
Rosales is a combo guard who plays the game at a fast pace. He’s more scorer than facilitator. He can get hot in a hurry. Dangerous jump shooter who can knock down shots of movement and be an efficient shot to option. Capable of hitting shots off the dribble and getting to the rim in 1 on 1 situations.

Kinmore Williams | Counted Out Reapers | 2027
Williams is a 6’6 wing with a ton of natural skills. He’s so athletic he can be a lob threat and one of the best defenders in the floor. Offensively he can get to the rim using his quick first step or by knocking defenders off their square. He continues to knock down threes off the catch when defenders sag off him. A talented wing prospect with a growing skill set and phenomenal physical tools.

Johntavious Rodriguez | Counted Out Reapers | 2028
Rodriguez is a bulldog at the point guard spot. He’s not the biggest player on the court and makes up for it with his competitiveness and speed. He looks like he’s spent some time in the weight room and it’s helping him become a scrappy defender. Richardson pace can change a game and open up playmaking opportunities for others. Richardson can get to the rim and finish amongst bigger players. Showed flashes of being a good mid range shooter and someone who can hit floaters.

Miguel Gomez | South FL Dawgs | 2028
Gomez is your classic inside outside scoring guard. He’s a slasher first who can get past defenders with a quick first step. He finished well at the rim and beat defenses before they could recover. He doubled as an off the catch three point shooter with deep range.

Josh Wood | Wave | 2030
Wood didn’t play much this weekend but at 6’7 and big like a tight end he’s worth taking note of. He has good short area quickness and is just learning how to play the game. That hasn’t stop him from using his size advantage to be a solid post defender, using his length to block shots, and finishing well around the basket.

Cliff Latimore | Florida Prospects | 2030
Latimore is a 6’3 incoming freshman with a ton of natural talent. He’s an athletic slasher who can get downhill and makes the right pass. A lot of his game is predicated on flashes of him getting to the rim and being fast with the ball in his hands. He’s a solid finisher in the paint and has the length to affect the game on defense. As he becomes more assertive and raises his physical advantage he’ll be a 2030 prospect to watch.

Eddie Rodriguez | South FL Dawgs | 2029
Rodriguez is making a banner for himself as a 6’7 2029 prospect. He easily finishes above the rim and even caught a lob this weekend. He initiated contact when playing out of the post and finished well when defenders became more physical. Rodriguez can step behind the three point line and be productive too.
