BUFORD, Ga. — Over the last few years, June has turned into one of the most pivotal months on the recruiting calendar. On The Radar and Southern Hoops Report teamed up to start the month off with a full day of hoops on Saturday.

Several teams from all over Georgia met at Seckinger High School to get competitive reps in ahead of two live period events later in the month.

Here are some of the rising seniors who starred during the day:

Abram Gaddis - Creekview - 2027

Gaddis had an electric afternoon with Creekview. His shotmaking was on display early that set the tone for the rest of the game for them. Gaddis can knock it down from a variety of spots on the floor and has good range. He brings infectious energy and competitiveness to the floor as well. His teammates fed off of him throughout the game.

Dylan Binion - Mt. Paran - 2027

Binion had an outstanding start to the day with Mt Paran. He gives them a burst of athleticism in the backcourt. Binion can touch the paint off the bounce and score or create. With shooters around him, Binion was an at-the-rim scorer who took advantage of a spaced floor to get point-blank looks.

Asher Wills - Mt. Paran - 2027

Wills is a versatile piece for the Eagles. He can fill multiple roles to match his team’s needs. He started the day by knocking down some shots from deep, but also showed that he can be a secondary creator. Wills has a good feel for the game and can make good decisions when he gets into the paint. He plays hard and fundamentally which allows him to play bigger and help on the glass or be an inside-the-arc presence.

Essien Lockleer - Commerce - 2027

A dual-sport athlete, Lockleer has the kind of athleticism one normally sees from someone who excels on both the gridiron and the hardwood. He used those physical tools to get to the rim more or less at will throughout the afternoon. When he got into a groove and kept things simple, he took over games at times. He’s tough to keep in front and can fly to the rim for easy layups.

Kendall Charleston - Seckinger - 2027

Charleston has some grit and pop to his game that allows him to excel on both ends of the floor. He’s a strong finisher who can make explosive plays above the rim. Charleston also brings good activity to the defensive end of the floor. He’s disruptive and can gum up offenses.
