On The Radar’s Summer Jam is one of the must-attend events on the basketball calendar in the southeast. The event matches the best teams from shoe circuits to independents against each other for a weekend of high-level action. Here’s who stood out: 

Ethan Easterling - Pivot - 2026

Ethan is a very dominant forward, He provides elite inside scoring,he has great hands and footwork in the paint and finishes through contact. Ethan is a high volume rebounder dominating the boards offensively and defensively. Ethan could very well be a consistent double-double threat. He has a big solid frame, loves bumping the cutter and setting brickwall screens for his teammates. Ethan plays well above the rim and makes a statement anytime he dunks the ball.

Pether Castro - HoopGrind - 2027

Pether leans on his confidence, size, and his savvy skillset to manipulate defenses. He can easily blow by primary defenders, get into the paint and make high level decisions. He can score at all three levels and plays with amazing poise and pace. Pether shows versatility by creating separation through footwork, and shooting from various angles. He cannot be sped up, takes great care of the ball, has great physicality and conditioning. Transition three, left-cross into the right spin lay, or the bump fadeaway middy, Pether will find a way to get a bucket.

Brandon Bell - Hard Work Pays Off - 2027

Brandon is particularly a facilitator but he can also be an effective scorer. He has excellent vision and composure. Brandon can score when needed and thrives in pick and roll scenarios. He has a great assist-to-turnover ratio, has precise passing, and makes quick decisions to advance the ball. Brandon is great at game management and knows when and when not to put his foot on the gas. He also provides great situational awareness and understands defensive rotations. 

Isiah Sloan - Southern Stars - 2026

Sloan is a point-of-attack defensive anchor.. Sloan consistently puts pressure on defenses by picking up full court, having great hands and high level lateral quickness. He is definitely one of the top defenders of the weekend. Sloan is great at disrupting offenses, navigating through screens, and maintaining ball pressure. He is also good at getting downhill and converting tough finishes.

Brock Bass-Bonner - Georgia Stars - 2027

is an elite 2 Way, athletic, scoring wing. Brock plays extremely well above the rim, can create his own shot and loves finishing through  contact. He’s a lockdown on ball defender, plays passing lanes and plays with great energy. Brock was definitely the most athletic player of the weekend. He constantly wowed the crowd with vicious dunks. He is also a top tier, versatile defender. Brock provides high energy, transition highlights and consistent reliable outside shooting.
