EMERSON, Georgia – Select Events hosted the LIVE! at LakePoint event during the NCAA Live Period. This event brought together many of the top programs from the Southeast across several circuit affiliations. The top-tier competition allowed for a good measuring stick for players and for the college coaches evaluating from the baseline. Below are seven underclassmen prospects who caught our attention.

Jade Bell – FBC United UAA – 2028

Bell is a 5-foot-9 wing who thrives at attacking the rim. She has a strong frame and quick feet which make her very difficult for opponents to contain. We saw her drain a 3-pointer in FBC’s matchup versus Duval Elite which is an indication that she has a game that is not one-dimensional. For those who are looking for players whose stock will rise this July, place your bets on Bell.

Kyndoll English – West Virginia Thunder UAA NC – 2028

English is a steady producer in the middle of the floor. We watched the 6-foot-3 forward/center drop 28 points in her morning game. She has expert-level ability to carve angles to score around the rim. Even more intriguing, though, is her range on the trail jumper. Few players possess the skill set to be able to score in 1-on-1 situations with their back to the basket and be able to shoot the 3-pointer with as much efficiency as English. She picked up a University of Central Florida offer after the event at LakePoint.

Janiyah Hargrave – FBC United Kentucky UAA – 2028

Hargrave has earned a reputation as one of the top prospects in the Midwest. The 5-foot-9 guard is scoring-minded and has the athleticism to turn the corner with the dribble. She also has the physique that lets her elevate and score in traffic. She backed up this reputation by scoring 15 second-half points in a Saturday morning game that ensured a win for FBC United KY. She has reported offers from the B1G and SEC in the past. We would expect that recruiting profile to grow as she enters her junior year at Kettering Fairmont (OH).

Kendall Proffitt – Duval Elite P24 – 2028

Proffitt’s profile went through the roof following last weekend. She reported offers from Penn State, Miami, and Tennessee this week. She even traveled to Knoxville for an unofficial visit with coach Kim Caldwell’s staff. Proffitt’s profile is elite. She is a 6-foot wing with ball handling skills and a consistent jumper from 3-point range. Her footwork and agility equip her to score in traffic as well. Expect the line of college coaches to be tracking Proffitt closely during the July live period.

Madeline Dates – FBC United UAA – 2029

Dates caught our eye when FBC squared off versus Duval Elite P24. She proved to be a shooting specialist who can catch fire from the perimeter. The 5-foot-10 guard from Goose Creek, South Carolina, is an expert at reading screens along the baseline. She is active and cannot be face-guarded, because she has a great feel for spacing along the perimeter. She is more than an off-the-ball guard, though. She can handle and get her shot from behind ball screens if necessary. College recruiters took notice as she fielded offers from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, University of Central Florida, and Auburn this past week.

Laine Lyles – WV Thunder UAA KY – 2029

West Virginia Thunder UAA KY 2028 went 4-0 at the event last weekend and Lyles was certainly a major reason why. She is a 5-foot-10 combo guard who is capable of play-creation and shot-making. Her slender frame combined with terrific court awareness makes her one of the elite players that we have evaluated in the class of 2029 to this point. Her pull-up jumper is her go-to move and evidence that she has an advanced skill set.

Aubrey Bush – FBC United Kentucky UAA – 2030

Bush is the lone 2030 prospect to make the list from the event. She earned her space. She is emerging as an elite ball handler and playmaker at levels beyond her age group. She has yet to set foot in high school, but she is already commanding the floor like an experienced floor general. What sets Bush apart from other guards, whether because of her age or despite playing against older competition, is her understanding of when to look for her shot and when to get others involved. She is not a ball-dominant guard who will only look for her points. Instead, her teammates like playing with her because she will consistently set them up for easy looks. Do not be deceived, though, Bush will go get a bucket when needed. This will not be the last time Bush’s name is mentioned on the travel circuit. She is going to be here for a while.
