PLAYERS FEATURED
The future is looking bright in the Sunshine State. Here are some of the Florida Crown III standouts from the weekend:

Josiah Ferrarini | SE Elite | 2030
Ferrarini can change the pace of the game with his downhill playmaking. He plays with pace and knows how to put defenders on their heels. He doesn’t shy away from contact on his drives and has the strength to shrug defenders off to create space for his next move.

Daylen Watson | WORTH | 2030
Watson will enter high school with some muscle on his frame and the physicality to be a nightmare In his age group. He’s a quick ball player who can switch on to several perimeter positions and even smaller bigs due to his strength. He puts pressure on the rim, rebounds, and creates opportunities for himself and others whether he’s on or off the ball.

Jace Allen | MBJ | 2030
Two weeks ago I was introduced to Jace Allen, the scorer. This week I watched his defensive potential emerge. He’s right 6’1 before he hits high school with the length and athleticism to be a disruptive defender. He’s willing to challenge athletes in the paint. Allen is a physical defender who doesn’t get called for many fouls. Between his lateral foot spread and long arms he can guard several positions he can switch on different positions.

Peyton Megit | MBJ Elite | 2030
Megit is energetic and hard playing guard. He does everything at full speed. He’s a good cutter when he plays off ball and even better slasher when he’s on ball. He plays at a really fast pace while maintaining good guard skills. He has good passing instincts that will help him become a better lead guard as he gets older. Good defender who has the size, athletic tools, and the will to make plays on that end of the floor.

Tristen Green | SE Elite | 2031
Green is nearly six feet tall with a ton of confidence for a young guard. His size and mindset make him a good perimeter defender with the physical tools to force turnovers. Green is a solid playmaker on offense who can get in the paint and uses his size to clear the boards.

Austin Scaffidi | SE Elite | 2031
Scaffidi is still molding his game but his 6’5 frame holds some potential. He’s only played basketball for two years. He’s developing an inside game that’s fueled by his natural feel for rebounding. He’s a work in progress but with skill development he could become someone to track long term.

Marquies “MJ” Johnson | Stampeders 7th grade | 2031
Johnson already knows how to create his shot from the perimeter as a young middle school prospect. He’s a scoring guard who can make shots beyond the arc off the dribble.

Jerramiyah Richardson | WORTH | 2032
Richardson already has the size and length needed to be an impact basketball prospect. He’s a willing defender who can protect the paint. He’s a developing athlete who could have a bright future in the sport.
