PLAYERS FEATURED
We’re watching the emergence of the 2029 and 2028 classes in real time. In this article we’re featuring nine sophomores or freshmen who are showing a ton of basketball potential.

Hector Nieves | Sunshine Elite | 2029
Nieves is a game changing point guard. The offense completely changes with his pace, playmaking, and ability to score at the rim. His game is built off a high IQ and feel. He’s the type of point guard that makes everyone around him better. He’s a capable shooter from distance with a tight creative handle.

Dylan Lemoine | Sunshine Elite | 2029
Lemoine is energetic and physically imposing at the 15U level. His 6’6 frame, above the rim athleticism, and strong frame make him a force in the paint. This wasn’t his best showing but the physical tools, hustle, and rebounding are obvious.

Jeremiah Williams | Sunshine Elite | 2029
Williams is one of the most athletic guards in Florida’s 2029 class. He can finish above the rim on the break and in the half court. He uses those physical tools on the defensive end as well. In transition he’ll attempt chase-down blocks. His length and burst in the half court to create turnovers.
Keymorion Hill | Stampeders 9th grade | 2029
Hill plays way bigger than his 5’6 frame would allow most players. He’s a quick shot creating guard who can spray defenses from beyond the college three point line. He also has the downhill speed and crafty to get in the paint and set himself or his teammates up for good shots. Hill plays with a ton of confidence and it allowed him to score on good defenders with more size.

Ben Tihic | Progression Daily | 2029
Tihic is a 6’7 big who’s growing into his frame and his game. He’s developing a consistent right hand hook around the basket. He’s also comfortable stretching the floor. He won’t blow you away with his athleticism but he rarely lacks behind the speed of the game.

Isaiah Brown | Lakeland Elite | 2029
Brown showed the makings of a consistent double digit scorer last weekend. He’s a high volume shooter who knows how to get to his spots and when to track his defender. Dangerous three point shooter who can create his own looks behind the line and knock down catch and shoot opportunities. Very aggressive as a first option but can play with other scorers or ball dominant players.

Enadren Ivy | Lake City Heat 15U | 2029
Ivy is in the running for the most athletic young guard I’ve seen in the OnThe Radar Circuit. He’s about six feet tall with a burst of speed and verticality that overwhelms most players at the stage. He attempted poster dunks in the halfcourt reinforcing his ability to score above the rim. He’s a good on ball defender who made it hard for other athletic guards to score and penetrate the paint. Ivy plays with pace and attacks angles making him a hard player to stop at this age.
Damarious Knight | Stampeders 10th grade | 2028
Over the last year or so I’ve heard stories of a talented guard out of Wildwood. He stands about 6’2 with strong shoulders and a knack for getting downhill. The first time I watched Knight last weekend he checked off all those boxes while doing as a first option. If you give him the ball on the right side of the floor he’ll get to whatever driving angle he wants. Capable of knocking down outside shots. He plays through contact and knows his spots on the floor.

Lennox Zelaya | Skills Center Elite 17U | 2028
Zelaya was one of the youngest players in the 17U division and he looked comfortable on the floor for every second of it. He’s a posed lead guard who locks in on the defensive side. He’s just under 6 feet tall with a string dense frame. He puts a ton of pressure on the rim as a guard who plays can break his man down in isolation and take tough angles to finish at the rim. Handles ball pressure well and is hard to speed up.
