OTR CIRCUIT: STANDING OUT at the Sweet Sixteen - May 22, 2026

Coaches from the OTR circuit reported on which players had the most consistent showing over the three days at the Sweet Sixteen in Atlanta. Standout players came from both established prospects and emerging talent in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions. Coaches also shared recruiting updates from the weekend, which are listed at the bottom.

Coaches from the OTR circuit reported on which players had the most consistent showing over the three days at the Sweet Sixteen in Atlanta. Standout players came from both established prospects and emerging talent in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions. Coaches also shared recruiting updates from the weekend, which are listed at the bottom.

17U Standouts

Team EYA had several strong contributors. Braylon Robinson was extremely consistent all weekend at 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. He will be next up at Sandy Creek High School next season Agei Aguelet averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Quentin Clopton put up 15 points and 3 steals per game. Jackson Ushery had 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Bobby Buggs added 12 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals while Dontavius Stringfield contributed 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Robinson is a quick guard who is unafraid when it comes to attacking downhill and absorbing contact on the offensive end. He impacted the game where he knocked down multiple 3-pointers off the catch in an overtime win over Gold Elite. On defense, he was quick when moving his feet and jumping the passing lanes. (LINK)

Keelan Day averaged 21.3 points per game and Quadarious Clemons 18.4 for Griffin Grasshoppers Elite. Coaches called them the toughest backcourt in the state.

Cameron Ross wrote: Keelan is a pure scorer from all 3 levels. Helped his team on offense and controlled the game's tempo. Guarded well and forced multiple turnovers. Found his teammates in good spots for easy buckets. Stretched the defense with 5 made triples. (LINK)

Whitfield Bynoe put up 20 points per game, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and only 5 turnovers in four games for Sunshine Elite.

Joel Hillsman wrote: Always enjoy seeing players later and how they develop and '27 Whit Bynoe is one of them. Continues to attack off the dribble, shoots with confidence and defends at a high level. Hit 4-3s and finished with 19 points in a W for Sunshine Elite OTR over Team Person OTR. (LINK)

Kevin Rogers averaged 20.5 points per game for Atlanta Kings. He scored 20 or more in the first three games and had 25 in the last.

Cameron Ross wrote: Kevin is a quick lead guard looking to push the pace. He thrived in transition, constantly making plays for himself and his team. Guarded up top and used his voice to lead the defense. He lived in the paint and regularly finished at the rim, scoring in bunches. (LINK)

Tramane Brown delivered a strong all-around weekend for Elevate Huskies. He scored 15 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals against Tennessee Basketball, added 11 points and 6 rebounds versus Griffin Grasshoppers, grabbed 7 rebounds with a steal and block against Florida Fire, and contributed 8 points and 3 rebounds against Sewer South. Brown showed versatility across matchups with consistent rebounding and defensive effort.

Joel Hillsman wrote: OTR circuit team, Elevate Huskies 17U have been led by Tramane Brown (22), Bryant Swanson (0) and Chase Daniels (10). The trio play well together while showcasing their games w/in the team structure. They’re 2-0 so far (LINK)

Qua Watson scored 23, 23, 19, and 21 points across four games for Only1Elite.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Watson did a great job utilizing his length and athleticism on the offensive end of the floor, where his rebounding and energy on the defensive end kept his team afloat. On the offensive end, he did most of his work playing off the ball where he got to his spots finishing at the rim, playing with confidence in the mid-range, and expanding his game to being a perennial threat on the perimeter. He is a steady playmaker coaches are going to want to know as we head into the summer. (LINK)

Trent Witte averaged a double-double and made 15 threes for Atlanta Standard OTR in front of recruiters.

Jonathan Hemingway wrote: Witte has one of those releases that instantly alerts all who are watching that he is an expert shooter. The stats back up that intuition. He ranked fifth in the state of Georgia in 3-pointers made. We watched him knock down a pair of threes in the second half of Standard’s win over the Warner Robins All-Stars. His ability to work the arc and space the floor is a skill that translates to all teams across levels. (LINK)

Donovan Swain averaged 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 0.8 steals per game for Team Gold Coast.

Kasyn Chase averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for Warriors Life Elite 2027 OTR.

Miguel Ribeiro wrote: Kasyn Chase is electrifying to watch. There are certain players who can completely change the energy of a game, and Chase is one of them. When he gets into a rhythm from three, the gym starts to feel it. He has a quick, smooth release, gets it off with confidence, and does not need much time or space to make defenses pay.

Xion Evans posted 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for All Georgia Elite OTR. Dominion Bunch added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Carlin Cabbil had 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Evans showcased his ability to get downhill, create for his teammates, and knock down shots from the perimeter off the bounce at a high clip. On the glass, he competed at a high level where he was rebounding and running the floor in transition. He was also able to be effective in the passing lanes where he forced turnovers and created extra possessions for his team in a blowout win over Rare 1’s Elite.

Chase Mohn had 17 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds for Triangle Offense Elite.

Ayaan Bhadouria averaged 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for PSB Tampa. Jonah Daniel added 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and shot 40 percent from three.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Bhadouria he ran the floor in transition, stayed active around the rim, and finished effectively through contact, converting on opportunities created by his positioning. He showed a good feel for timing when cutting to the basket on the offensive end. On defense, he used his length and athleticism when cutting off the passing gaps as well as being active on the boards in the wire-to-wire win over NGU. (LINK)

Fortune Hicks scored 15 points per game and led the offense for Gold Elite OTR.

Jennifer Brazelton wrote: Fortune Hicks is a long, wiry guard who has been consistently productive at events early in the travel season. Hicks has proven he can knock down shots both off the catch and off the dribble, showing a good feel for finding gaps in the defense and making plays. A sound ball handler with a confident step‑back jumper, Hicks has been tough to contain when he gets into rhythm.

Tristan Warren had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game for Warner Robins All-Stars OTR.

Josh Tec wrote: 2027 G Tristan Warren led @wr_allstars to a good start to the live period. Physical, with good length, Warren is a disruptive and switchable defender who’ll generate a turnover then get out in transition. (LINK)

Hampton Hill averaged 15.5 points for Georgia Legacy.

Jayden Gunby stood out for the Charlotte ACES Basketball. He finished through traffic against doubles, rebounded well, and blocked shots.

Brings size, versatility, and activity with the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Plays with a strong motor, finishes well around the rim, and has the tools to keep trending upward. Mahkhi Cooper averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists for Beach Boys Elite OTR.

Jourden Smoak averaged 18 points per game for Atlanta Panthers.

Cameron Ross wrote: Jourdan did some of everything for his team. Plays with a good motor on both ends and constantly competes. Handled the ball to run the offense and thrived without the ball. Made tough shots and created offense for his team. Rebounded well and defended in multiple spots. (LINK)

Tony Coates Jr. was a force defensively and scored on all three levels for Flagler United 17U.

Davis McCarn wrote: 28’ CG Tony Coates Jr @FlaglerUnited is a high motor guard and has a lot to work with. A tight handle and good footwork allow him to create at a high level at the midrange. He also does a great job setting up others in transition. (LINK)

Team Person Red had a trio of top performers which included Anthony Moon (12 ppg), Lorenzo McCorvey (10 ppg, 7 apg), and Jamai McClure (13 ppg) for Team Person Red.

Joel Hillsman wrote: Moon is a bouncy and lanky 6’7 high-energy forward. Moon displayed the ability to hit shots from the perimeter-especially off the bounce, was active around the basket and showed his athleticism with a couple of nice dunks. Moon runs the floor well, is always lurking on defensive to get a block and hustle for 50/50 balls.

Other top 17U performers included Mike Underwood of HoopGrind 2027 OTR, , Walter Brown for G-Force Ryders OTR, Jakez Baldwin and Fernando George III for Thunder Select, Carmelo Williams for Georgia Canes, Anthony Rosa (11 ppg, 15 vs. GA Legacy) and Kweli Reels (11 ppg, game-high 20 vs. GA Legacy) for Grindhouse Lakers NC OTR.

16U Standouts

Adrian Pozo averaged 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals for PSB Tampa 16U Robinson.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Pozo is a true game-changer whether it’s his ability to knock down shots on all three levels off the catch or bounce on the offensive end. He is also a true menace on the defensive end, whether it’s his ability to be active in the passing lanes, getting steals, and deflections. He is a true winner and could make an immediate impact as the spring rolls on.

Lucas Fainter had 17 points and 8 rebounds for Georgia Legacy Premier 16U.

Davis McCarn wrote: Lucas Fainter (@galegacyhoops) is a solid interior presence who does a ton of the right things. A tenacious scorer when he gets post touches while also being a serviceable passer out of double teams. He finished the game with 18p.

Kam Schmitz scored consistently from all three levels with a defensive presence for Warner Robins Allstars 16U.

Alex Ayala posted 18 points and 12 rebounds for HWPO 16U.

Davis McCarn wrote: Alex Ayala (HWPO) is a slashing wing who plays high above the rim. He had a couple really impressive coast to coast buckets this morning. A prospect that has a lot to work with.

Paul Marte stood out for HoopGrind 2028.

Davis McCarn wrote: Paul Marte (@HoopGrind) is a poised guard who handled full court pressure well all game long. A pure scoring floor general who has a ton of tools in the tool belt. He was hot from deep this morning hitting 5 from beyond the arc. Marte finished with 32p. (LINK)

15U Standouts

Braylon Meadows dominated both ends with blocks, rebounding control, and 12 points per game for AEBL 2029 OTR.

Umar Rashid wrote: 2029 Braylon Meadows is the perfect team player for @AEBLHOOPS. He’s got good defensive instincts and can move his feet on the perimeter. On the offensive end, he knows his way around the rim and uses his body well to punish smaller defenders. (LINK)

Miles Thornton looked comfortable getting into the paint, playmaking, and finishing at the rim for PNP 2029. Omari Alleyne stayed consistent on both sides of the ball.

Phil McCarn wrote: Miles Thornton (2029) is an intense pressure defender who creates offense from defense. Converts turnovers into points, plays under control in transition, and does a great job landing on two and getting to the line.

Sam Cockrell continued his consistency for Atlanta Standard 15U.

Umar Rashid wrote: Sam Cockrell @SamCockrell2029 (‘29) has a smooth jumpshot and uses his physicality well to impact the game. His activity in the rebounding game allows him to score both inside and out, all while keeping his game simple. (LINK)

Troy Reddin continues to impress Flagler United 15U. While Demetrius Ferretti stirs the offense, Braylon Bryson and Samuel Lendor adds strong defense and driving for Flagler United.

Ross Van De Griek wrote: Reddin plays a smooth offensive game where he is explosive in transition when finishing around the rim as he finished with a game-high 20 points in a win over NCF Hoops. On defense, his ability to read the passing lanes were on full display as his overall game continues to blossom. Reddin will be a name to watch as the spring rolls on as he continues to climb in the rankings for his class.

Evan Edwards is a name to track with HoopGrind 2029 OTR.

Gabe Winston was a standout averaging 16 ppg for DPC 2029 OTR.

Recruiting Updates

Griffin Grasshoppers reported Keelan Day, a 6-3 guard with a 3.8 GPA, received calls from mid-level Division I, Division II, NAIA, and JUCO programs. Charles Lewis, a 6-7 forward, saw his recruiting interest increase.

Team EYA reported Ethan Allen (2027 PG from ELCA) received interest from Life University.

Sunshine Elite tells that Kaiden Zenkner received an offer from LBW JUCO. Several players picked up interest from UNF, North Georgia, Young Harris, and University of Tampa.

Atlanta Kings noted contact between Kevin Rogers and LB Wallace, with North Georgia coaches following him on Twitter.

PSB Tampa listed multiple Division III contacts for Ayaan Bhadouria, Jonah Daniel, Reid Boland, Mo Turner, and Micah Jarvis.

Palm Beach Aces said Tank holds a Division II offer.

Atlanta Standard OTR reported strong Division III interest for Trent Witte with Division II connections beginning.

Triangle Offense Elite had Chase Mohn draw interest from North Georgia and UA-Huntsville. Aiden Aponte heard from UNC-Pembroke and Tampa.

Charlotte ACES said Jayden Gunby received an offer from Dyersburg State. Emory also showed interest.

Georgia Legacy listed interest for Luke Beaver, Hampton Hill, Keaton Watkins, and Will Bishop from various Division III and NAIA schools.

Warriors Life Elite 2027 OTR received calls from Young Harris, Kennesaw, Hampton, and North Georgia.

All Georgia Elite reported Xion Evans drew interest from Kennesaw State and North Florida and earned an invite to the Pangos All-American Camp. Dominion Bunch heard from North Florida and Berry College.

Grindhouse Lakers NC OTR said Kweli Reels received contact from UNC Pembroke and an invite to a prospect camp.
