6th Grade Champions: Atlanta Celtics

Atlanta Celtics 6th/2030 team went 3-1 on the weekend and had one of the most intriguing match-ups of the weekend. Against a T3am Tooki3 they came up a point short, 25-24. William Ononiwu was their primary force in keeping the Celtics in the game. Ononiwu stayed active and aggressive inside and didn’t let up. Ononiwu had several and-1 plays and helped the Celtics clinch the championship on Sunday.

5th Grade Champions: B-Maze Elite

B-Maze was dominant throughout the weekend with several teams clinching championships and this 5th grade B-Maze team was no different. B-Maze went undefeated throughout the weekend and had standout performances by Quan Gasby (#2) and Jack Ballard (#9). Gasby was their lead guard making plays around the basket and showed off some phenomenal passes inside. Ballard showed off his range, connecting on several deep 3’s to help further the lead throughout several games. This B-Maze squad will be a fun team to track throughout this travel season.
